If this season unfolds the way it looks like the question Trev Albert's has to ask is " what does the future look like?" There is no real talent on the bench or in the pipeline. The present and the future is not bright.

We signed one international recruit we know nothing about other than she was a bench player for the U18 Italian team and another recruit who isn't ranked by any recruiting service! This was after signing only one high school recruit last year and two portal additions after losing 7 girls to the portal. Next year we'll lose Lauren Ware, Sahara Jones, Aicha Coulibaly, Amirah Abdul-Rahum, and possibly Jada Malone. That's assuming no one else leaves which based on history, some will. The future is very uncertain here. If we don't turn this around this season it can get ugly

There is literally no turning this around, this is the best we're going to get. Next year is dark. I double we win 10 games this year, next year we'd be lucky to win 5 as it currently stands

I don't say much but I've been watching for a while. One of the biggest problems with this team is the bench should be the starters. There's no way Lauren, Janae or Sole should be starting. They wouldn't in any other program. Go check the stat sheet for the season so far. It should be Malone, Parker and Hunter. That combination with AC and Sahara is our best chance but for some reason the coaching staff wants to go with them.

Trev doesn't seem to care, he's basically letting the soccer program burn to,the ground over few dollars. He's not going to make a change in wbb who's coach had far larger buyout. My guess is he lets the contract runout

so she loses most girls last year to the portal and will graduate many this year and she responds with 1 ranked high school recruit in the 2024/2025 classes. An international player with little pedigree and an unranked signee. Wow, this is unbelievable. She was so confident and cocky coming into this job and this is her product of basketball. At this point I hope we can have anyone on the bench next year

It's almost like JT doesn't want to be here. Something is just off. Maybe she doesn't want to be a head coach anymore. If there's something else she wants to pursue and she leaves after this season, the new coach will have plenty of space to fill the roster as they see fit.

I didn't realize she complained about attendance. The foundation of the season ticket base is the +70 seniors who were sold by Gary Blair marketing the team every day everywhere he went. JT needs to reconnect with the community by being seen and selling her program . I doubt I'll renew my season tickets after nearly 20 years . It's an absolute circus on the court now with no clear plan.

Last year in a post game presser they asked her about the attendance and the 12th man and their impact on the game and she said, while grateful, she was disappointed and expected more out of them. I get what she was saying and it was her way of wanting to voice that she wants more people there, she just worded it wrong. Next presser she apologized and said she was thankful for the fans lol

Volleyball girls are hitting balls with students on campus to spread their message about attendance and it worked out greatly for them! They are also very active on social media and with the Reed Rowdies. I think if Joni and the girls got on campus, they could rally some people to attend. They've been getting some student orgs and sororities to attend. But they need more students, with winter break coming up, students will look at the record come spring semester beginning. They got to get people in seats now.

We have two solid home games coming up against a top ten Kansas State and Syracuse! Both games before winter break. They have to use those games to showcase their product and get people in seats

The track team used to do "a day with me" where a different athlete would take over the Instagram story! Softball's done that too, I think that would be great for the women.

If we are going to accuse her of complaining about attendance, lets make sure that is accurate or let it go.

Gary Blair would literally knock on peoples doors to grow this program. He would attend every Aggie sporting event he could. He was doing all he possibly could to get people to respect and appreciate the program and his players. Joni's letting it all crumble. It's difficult and painful to watch. You all can choose not to see it, but that's your own doing. It's just an unfortunate shame.

I couldn't be a season ticket holder because my mother was in a coma and is now in hospice… my goodness you are an evil person… please leave me alone. Sorry I can't leave my dying mother alone in her last months to attend one of these games 7 hours from my home. I've met some mean people on here, but you win Gap. Taylor,
Sorry about your mother. I know nothing about your personal life. And I don't share mine here either. My tone here is conciliatory. So please read this that way with nothing being provocative.

You can have some pretty strong takes - some that assume the worst about people in our Athletic Dept. You post a lot here so I don't know if you see certain things and are ignoring them or just aren't aware of them. Now, I know the answer and the why.

You have plenty to offer here in the less attended Aggie sports for which we both have a passion. But if I am going to be called "evil" for engaging with you on the substance of the argument, perhaps, we just block each other so that we don't see each other's posts.

Three things that have sent you over the top on me that I am aware of:

1 - Me defending G as not being a misogynist. You accused G of specifically targeting female refs and not male refs. I have observed that he argues with all refs and it is part of his job. He doesn't just pick on women.

2 - Me letting you know that a certain soccer player was injured and not dressed out most of a season as opposed to G just not playing her.

3 - Now asking for some evidence that Joni is complaining about of WBB crowds. I've never heard her say anything remotely like that and you remember her saying she was "grateful" and "disappointed" in our crowds. I'd just like to hear those comments because I've never heard her state her disappointment. In fact, she and the players often personally thank you for coming to the games.

The above 3 items are specifically are about reasons you are disappointed in our coaches and are characteristics that add to why you don't want them here any longer. I'm trying to share with you that I think those particulars are inaccurate and hoping to keep the criticism on target. Perhaps, I have something new to learn on point 3 above. That was my question as I am always open to new information to change what I think I know.

Understandable, we're one of the few that appreciate and share a deep care for these "smaller" sports! We got to stick together! We're some of the biggest volleyball fans and right now we have to give them our full attention going forward! I'm just an overly passionate fan who cares a little too much about Aggie Sports… I'm class of '21, my goal is to actually work in collegiate athletics administration one day!!!! I'll put my passion to use then

I'll be at softball games, and keep up with me on the softball/baseball forum. That's my WHEELHOUSE besides volleyball and baseball.

I coached 20 years of softball and was a camp A&M staffer under Evans, and I know this stuff very well, to say the least

The new staff has been taken VERY GOOD care of me, as well

10 yrs volleyball coach

My life has always had baseball in it

Coached MBB for 5 yrs
