Women's Basketball Hits the Road to Play Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to face off against Missouri inside Mizzou Arena at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25.

The Aggies (14-4, 2-3 SEC) are looking to get back in the win column after a loss to No. 1 South Carolina. Texas A&M is 3-0 after losses this season and is winning those games by an average of 27.3 points. The Maroon & White boast the No. 10 ranked field goal percentage defense (34.7%) in the nation and are also ranked No. 6 in rebounds per game (46.3).

Endyia Rogers is coming off a 21-point performance against the Gamecocks on Sunday, which was her second 20-point game over the last three. Rogers is averaging a team-high 18.6 points per contest through SEC play. Sahara Jones has eclipsed her season-high in scoring in two straight games with a 15-point showing against Tennessee and a 17-point game versus South Carolina.

Missouri (11-8, 2-4 SEC) is looking to defend its home court after dropping its last game to Kentucky on the road,71-76. The Tigers are 8-2 inside Mizzou Arena this season.

What do we know about Janiah Barker's availability for the game?

In Coach Taylor's press conference she said Barker was still in concussion protocol and day to day.

She talked about the concussion protocol during the radio show on Tuesday. It was very interesting (to me). I hope Janiah 'passes' the test soon & can play.

I did not see her on the airplane but I very well could have missed her.

Barker did not travel with team according to the announcers.

Mizzou has taken 16 free throws and that Aggies have just 6. A little lopsided!

We just cannot make a shot to save our lives. Points in the paint is our only option.

I thought the same thing. Im guessing you are talking about Sole. My guess is she had a turnover the play before. Everybody doesnt get equal grace when they make mistakes. Bowles and Sole get yanked quickly, they cant get in a rhythm. Hylton, Ware and Jones for the 3rd game in a row played great.

Teams are going to pack it in and force us to make outside shots. Great win tonight.

Starting Hylton is the right call. She is shifty and fast. Fouls a lot but she is clutch at the line. Really one of my favorite players on the team.

Yes - Sole - really wish she would get more time. Bowles seems to be a step behind. I guess Kylie isn't going to see the court the rest of the year.
