With 7:30 to go Jones missed the easiest shot she will ever have but she just made up for it.
This game is intense if we can just keep them from making 3s we should be able to win.

The critical stat to me is the 14 turnovers to their 6 and their 17 points off those turnovers to our 6.
I'm lost for words but I really shouldn't be surprised. We won't be hosting and don't deserve to host. We were up by what 17 points at one point ? They didn't even have a great shooting game and yet we still get outplayed and lose.

I knew of the turnovers but wow, didn't know the points off the turnovers.

Steve Miller said we had 5 turnovers in that 4th quarter, and I think most were bad passes.
Too many turnovers last few minutes of game...our offense consists of mostly standing around and watching Carter dribble the ball and try to make her way to the goal or shoot a contested jump shot. We got out played last five minutes of game, you could see it coming from a mile away.
And she could've drove on that last play but settled for a horrible jump floater. We always play not to lose when we go up big against teams. Our slowed down offensive sets don't help eitherTall Texan said:

This is such a talented team, but they don't play with any sense of urgency. If we are ahead, they just put it on cruise control instead of stepping on the opponent's neck and keeping them down.
We also cannot make a lay-up, and we cannot defend a lay-up.

Guess we rest and wait for tournament seeding. Zero doubt we are in. Have to see how we get seeded. Hopefully they can stay fresh and loose while waiting!

Gary just said Ciera might have more than a sprain. Also that we thought Carter got hit on the hand. Gary just told a reporter asking Carter about the WNBA was not a fair question. Only question is which 5 seed spot we will have and will that send us to Iowa City, Tuscon, Corvallis, or Chicago.
Clearly disappointing. Failed to play D as we did early. The one three that got me was shot clock running out and we failed to play D and in last second Ark. shoots a three. Game over.
Just watched the last play, Carter was fouled.
Also I fail to see some of the fouls that are called. One blocking foul early.
