This is the most disturbing bit of information in this whole thread. Could you expound on this a little more?

Not much to expound on. The team is OK with the players leaving. No animosity and wish them well. They only want players who want to be there. Danni has asked for her release papers after each season.

This surprised me, as she seemed to enjoy playing, enjoyed the fans & the 12th man support. Guess she hid her unhappiness well *shrug*

So if all that is true, why were her two previous requests not fulfilled?

Danni was rumored to be transferring after her freshman year because she wasn't happy with the playing time and role she received that year. She shot the 2nd most 3's on the team that year. It was kind of her specialty off the bench, but she only hit 25% for the year (and an even worse 14% in SEC play), so her role didn't increase. I guess they became convinced that the returning roster would lead to more playing time as a sophomore.

Apparently somebody here thinks they know.

Papers are given at the player's request. It's a release given to the player to allow them to talk to other schools. Again, it's difficult for any player to adjust to the unexpected rise to superstardom.
