I believe zero percent. We have a financial company manage everything outside of cash and stocks from our employers.

0%. Not because I don't like the concept but I don't trust governments can keep their slimy hands off of it.

Bitcoin and Ethereum have been such a tense thing for me.

I first started looking at Bitcoin at $16 a share. Was going to put in a grand and everyone told me not to. I should have trusted myself but I couldn't get over it being worthless. Right now I have about 20% of my play account in bitcoin at an average cost of around 50k a coin. Bought some more earlier today.

With Ethereum I first bought at around $100 a share a long time ago. Sold that off soon after in the $300 a share range. Right now I have around 5% of the play account in Ether at a 3k basis. Bought some today. Still think this coin has real value.

VOO has around 20% of that account and Hood is around 30%. I bought a LOT of that Hood stock at $9 a share. Hood just took in another $3bn with the IRA transfer program. Tenev is killing it. VOO and QQQ are in there for stability as are google and amazon. Google has the best chance to win the software side of the AI wars and Amazon has the best chance of winning the storage side of AI.

A couple of months ago I moved about 20% of my investment account into funds "adjacent" to Bitcoin. Mostly MicroStrategy and some ETF's. Since that time those funds have grown by 18% while the rest have experienced miniscule gains. I'll probably put a decent percentage of my annual bonus directly into Bitcoin at the end of the year.

My strategy is to keep the majority of retirement funds invested in "safe" target index funds while continuing to dip my toes into the crypto market. Low risk with potentially large reward.

About 0.5% in Bitcoin and Ethereum. I'm just dollar cost averaging both over the last couple of years.

Why do you think ETH has value?

Because I'm in the green on it?

I'm no crypto guru but if an asset keeps steadily climbing, I'd say its ok to invest in. Sure it could crash, but so could anything we invest in....

If it isn't really a currency, but only for investors and scammers/ransom actors, then aren't we just using Texas energy against Texans for ransomware attacks?
