Your purchase has been denied. You post too much on unauthorized forums.

Look again. Not a 14uple post. 14 distinct different possibilities in a CBDC future to ponder. PayPal showed their cards this week...government CBDC would be 10x worse at minimum.

Next time you go buy groceries and stick in that credit card, think deeply when you see the words "Transaction Authorized." Oh! Isn't that nice of them to authorize this. But what happens if I suddenly stop being "authorized"? What if my government literally does not authorize me to purchase food for my family? Or anything else I want to do?

The whole point of Bitcoin, that no one of TexAgs seems to understand or appreciate, is that no one has power, authority, or trust as a middle man. It empowers individual freedom in a way fiat and especially CBDCs never will.

Everyone is slowly cooking, talking about their portfolios in dollar value terms, looking forward to retirement...they won't realize they are caged until it is too late. Not to be dramatic, but if you're sitting on zero with Bitcoin in self-custody I am scared for your future.

Your purchase has been denied. Your football team **** the bed again this weekend.

Reject CBDCs. Choose Bitcoin.

We're like 1-2 I.T.-competent tyrants away from linking covid vaccine status to your spending ability. All the things you think protect you as an American, like the Constitution and Supreme Court, are abstract forms of power that may or may not continue to be recognized by other humans with power of physical force.

Allocating your energy resources into the Bitcoin network is a critical form of self defense.

But don't worry, you can still make fun of Bitcoin and roll your eyes. That's a totally viable path forward as well.

"and those with it will be okay"

To be okay for most people relies on a very complex supply chain of food and other resources. Even if you're prepared to defend your home or physical person, if the entire "system" that the world runs on gets consumed by a CBDC form of governance, you'll be hard pressed to survive for long.

The key to avoiding this digital prison honestly is spreading Bitcoin as far and wide as possible BEFORE it grabs hold.

I buy ammo too. Like I said, it's good to diversify.

exp is really on to something here. I've been interested in crypto for some time but, never took the deep dive. Honestly, I'm not even sure BTC will save you.

That ISO 20022 for banking and financial transactions via crypto reads like a WEF inspired dystopian nightmare. God help us all. ESG and Personal carbon credits are a big push by the people controlling some of these larger crypto projects.

That quote from the Bible saying "men will throw their silver and gold in the streets as something unclean" comes to mind.

So....thoughts on obtaining KYC-free BTC?

Governments are pretty good at getting people to give up literally anything via a gun to the head of a loved one (see- any country behind the Iron Curtain, Soviets, etc.). But if they don't know you have it....

Sam Bankman-Fried and FTX - a liberal dem power hungry piece of mierda. So are many of the VCs in the space. Legacy banking jackwagons that want to keep power and control away from retail.

Yeah the more privacy you have the better of you are, but I wouldn't let perfection stand in the way of much much better at this point. Simply having Bitcoin in self custody is a huge leap forward.

If you were listening closely you would have already heard the bureaucrats on left crying about inequity of bitcoin wealth and on the right crying about national security threats.

I predict one last aggressive bounce to ATH, then game over for bitcoin. It becomes a cheap insurance hedge and nothing more as long as USD remains global reserve and Fed deploys a USDC. So bitcoin should only be traded, until its stashed like 9mm and .223 ammo. The bagholding by maximalists will be heartbreaking.

How do you envision the "game over" on Bitcoin progressing/playing out? Do they attack the network? Suffocation by economic regulation? Ban it outright?

I assume the stashing of ammo is related to the projection of violence towards a potentially oppressive government or anarchy.

You fail to recognize bitcoin itself as a projection of violence, no different than missiles or nukes. I'd highly recommend reading or listening to Jason Lowery speak on the topic. He's building his thesis around this idea for presentation to the Pentagon.

PoS vs PoW - jplowery (long)

Also recommend the lowery/Breedlove series.
