Easier to type what my phone knows...the label doesn't matter....strong ecosystems with good tech, that prepared for down times, will survive...those that don't panic will be ok.

Personally, I fear real estate will bust soon...ugly.

Why?
OK.

Aggressive expansion...lots of building....global economic precipice...I feel too much supply, expensive supply, when times are uncertain and likely getting worse, it will be 2008 for different reasons. Regular folks won't be buying and many will be needing to downsize.

I don't see the excess supply happening. I think the demand will soften and prices will level out somewhere 10% above or below current prices. Even with the huge price inflation we are still seeing very few buyers and the rental market is very competitive.

I hope I'm right.

we are so low on supply that we literally can't build ourselves out of it fast enough. The only thing that can really slow it down is occupancy issues created by people picking up additional roommates or moving back in with parents. The literally is no commodity level housing in all of Texas.

Unsure how that is possible. Multiple family members work for a large building supply company. For the past 3 years, and currently, large amounts of apartments, condos, townhouses, and homes are being built.

Entire new construction subdivisions all over.
Consider all the Alexans, Broadstones(multiples), Smart Living (multiples), Spire, Hanovers (multiples), etc. that were completed within the past 2 years, and the same amount being built now...makes me concerned about the supply.

Even downtown around Houston 1 - Houston 4 construction. Midtown south to 3rd Ward, lots of townhouses, tons.

Cypress and Fulshear alone have huge subdivisions in the works.

He is right though. The influx of people is too much for the builders even if the builders are building at a record pace.

There is zero inventory in the entire state. Well not zero, but as close as we have ever been.

Houston is adding about 300 people a day. That'll fill up an entire Alexan in three days with people to spare

You still holding on to your cardano? I'm tempted to just convert it to BTC and call it a day on this crypto stuff.

Project is probably cooked. Can't see how anyone could trust it after this.

A lot of projects relied on the yield who are probably toast also.

Heard something that UST decoupled itself from Bitcoin and was trying to stand alone. It's crashing because of it. Don't know enough about it to know if that makes sense, but heard it on a podcast.

Currently holding BTC, ETH, UNI, LINK. Y'all still think the long term is a good play? I'll be honest. Last few days have shaken my confidence but I don't wanna sell being this down.

We're in falling knife territory right now. Do not buy, it will go down a lot more. There is nothing at all stopping it.

LINK is a waste IMHO.

I've had it for a year or so and it generally goes in one direction.

/biz/ on 4chan has gone straight past pink wojak memes and is using the permabear memes last seen in 2009, that's how you know it's really bad.

All I can do is hold on... about 2 months ago a few of my coins jumped and I was up so big, but May 25 was my 1 year mark for a lot of my coins and I was determined to get past the 'short term investment' tax penalty.

So bad timing for me. But I'll just sit here and wait it out. Assuming it booms again like it did last year, I'll cash out when it's high, set aside a decent amount for taxes and some profits, and keep some ready to buy in on the next low cycle.

Or I'll watch it all burn up and think "this is fine"

Haven't used strike yet, but downloaded the app. Does it limit y'all's buy amount? And is there a way to have the 'buy' transfer directly to ledger, or does that need to be transferred from the app to ledger yourself?

There is a weekly limit and you can "pay" a ledger BTC address so that there isn't a second step. I deposit via a debit card, pay my ledger address, and that's it.

Man. What to do what to do.

I can get out now down just a few grand on my year long adventure. I own one full bitcoin and have been up, down, up, down. Bought sold bought sold.

But man I have a BAAAD feeling about this. Id hate to hold on right now and see it crash.
