Well I definitely appreciate you posting indicators as to a potential bull run or other analytics as to how things may swing.

With screen shots maybe ? Would be fun to see the models
Sure thing! I'll post some screen shots so ya'll can see what I'm looking at....

Here's the 4h market cipher. No strong buy signals yet. That's the best time frame for long positions for a day or more.

The waves show momentum. Green dots are weak sell signals. My friend and I found a free wolfpack scanner that is very helpful. When it turns from red to green, and the vwap (yellow wave) is crossing the zero line, you have strong buy signals as well.

I did but first issue was initial ID approval rejection. Then it was a bit tasking for funding, not just the process but the wait (2/3 days).

Setting an ADA buy on KP for the weekend so I don't have to constantly monitor it..hoping to catch a dip around .99 and get over the 5k tokens mark. Doubtful it happens with all the good news being released...will raise to 1.08 Monday evening. I really wanted to buy all my ADA under a dollar...guess under a dollar cost basis will have to do.

Yeah, I'm throwing more money into ada if I see a low. I have $1000 shares currently.

Any thoughts on ALGO? I moved some ETH there this morning just because it has 6%APY staking on coinbase and appears to have more buying and longer holding than the free coins they give out. Not sure I follow what problem it's solving.

Also moved into ATOM, primarily for the yield but also because the use case seems valuable. Still trying to wrap my head around what's going on here and trying to figure out if there is a side hustle opportunity with writing applications and smart contracts.

Not into Algo, heard/read enough to choose others. Everything I have read and watched has ADA, DOT, and Cosmos (Atom) as the future with some Ren sprinkled in by some. I have to personally like a project (DD) and only after it is recommended by at least 6 of the 7 channels I follow.

I really really like Vechain (VET) and have for 2 months but it isn't offered on my 2 exchanges.

Thanks. Unfortunately ADA and DOT aren't available on coinbase and I haven't looked into other exchanges yet.

Any thoughts on XLM? It seems like it aims to solve issues of interoperability, which is what seems useful about ATOM. Solutions in that regard seem rather important in an emerging market of disruptive and accessible technology that may not lead to clear standards or winners.

XLM is a good buy now. Was a great buy at mid.3 earlier this week. I think it'll be $1 or close to by the end of the year.

ADA and DOT are available on Uphold. Fees are a little high but you can transact there.

Uphold and voyager have cardano. Maybe voyager has caught up with demand. I waited almost 15 days to get into voyager. Could have bought into cardano at $.30!!!

Agreed about XLM. I don't have a position in it because of my bigger positions in ADA, DOT, Atom, & Ren but I read and hear good things.

I like Kraken pro a lot. If it had VET I would be ecstatic. Been following VET (Vechain) since .01 with no position and that makes me angry because imo it will be huge.

Jaja, it took me 2 days to complete the Kraken pro and another 2 days for funds to settle. I bought my first entry at .42 but it could have been high .20s to low 30s. Caught it on a small upswing.
It's OK now, but my second buy was at .60 amd my third at .93 which was infuriating. I wanted back in at .75 -.82 amd watched it run up to. 97 while my funds settled.

Important lesson learned - always have money sitting in account and if used replace immediately so it is available the next day.

https://www.coindesk.com/crypto-tax-2021-guide

Crypto investment losses are not "personal casualty losses." Instead, they are classified as investment losses under tax code 165(c)(ii) because they are "transactions entered into for profit, though not connected with a trade or business."

As a result, all crypto losses in scams, thefts, or accidents are complete tax losses. These losses can be claimed on form 8949 as $0 proceeds transactions. This means that if you bought one bitcoin for $15,000 and it was stolen through an exchange hack, you would be able to report a loss of $15,000.

Ponzi scam losses can be treated as itemized deductions and are not subject to the $3,000 capital loss limitation. The amount invested in the scam can be deducted from your taxable income. This treatment is also known as the "Bernie Madoff deduction," named after the former chairman of the Nasdaq stock market, Bernard Madoff, who was convicted for running one of the biggest financial fraud operations in history. The key requirement is that someone must have been indicted for the loss to qualify as a Ponzi deduction.

Just in case this will help anyone.

Forgive my ignorance but use a VPN because you're in a state/country where Binance isn't offered or another reason? I think it's the first which makes sense, but curious about any other good reasons.

Correction.
My apologies, I posted I had not heard good things about Algorand which was my mistake. I haven't heard good things about Elrond.

All the experts on youtube say that trading on Sunday is risky. They also say trading the last day of the month is risky. So, trading on Sunday on the last day of the month is no bueno. I'll be sitting on the sidelines waiting for btc to go back up so I can cash out some money to get back to trading.

I'll check in on it later today, but if it goes up, good. If it goes down, I got to find more money to throw at it. If btc goes down below 40 and then returns to 58k (it probably will soon), that would be some nice gains.

All that to say, I'm not taking today unless I am. Then I will be trading today and telling the big wigs that I know more than they do.

Why not buy if it's down so much? Doesn't matter if it's Sunday or the last day of the month!

If you're planning to hold for the long term - doesn't matter really either way.

If you're day-trading and the difference between .0455 and .0400 helps you maximize your potential percentage gain great.

I think his point is it's more volatile on those days so if you're trying to buy in at the lowest point you're less likely to find it on those days

Ready to buy a little tonight between 5pm and tomorrow 7am if feeling good about the numbers.

Added Crypto.com to my exchange list. I like it a lot especially since it only took 5 minutes to set it up and funds settle immediately like Coinbase fromm debit card. I now have some positions in VET amd One.

Got a 4 hour buy signal according to Market cipher. I've found that buy signal in conjunction with Vwap and a free screen called wolf-pack means good things at least for a while.

Wolfpack hasn't crossed yet, so I'd hold off your buy for a bit. I'll post the Market Cipher photo shortly so ya'll can make your own choices.

Again, if BTC rebounds for a while here, expect almost all other crypto to do the same. Just a "heads-up".
