What would a smart person do? Sell off and buy the inevitable dip when more shares are offered?
Seems emotional to me. Do you feel the same way about people who buy puts?Mondo Ag said:
I've already covered my investment so I'm fine with holding to see if anything substantial can be made off this. And I never said I'd be holding for years lol I just want AMC to stick around because it's a fat finger to the people who are trying to short it out of existence.

Now shorting = manipulation? That should be least of your concern. Far more sinister actions taken every day that would better define manipulation than shorting.Mondo Ag said:ebdb_bnb said:Seems emotional to me. Do you feel the same way about people who buy puts?Mondo Ag said:

Nope, does the average person have the power to manipulate the market?

I made about $6K getting in and out of this thing. Bought at bit at $50ish right before the bell.

I am up 80k right now with 75k of that cashed out already. I was a true believer in the SS but today having AMC act against the shareholders for the second time in a week just broke my spirit.
I still hope it goes to the moon but I can't ride the rollercoaster with a bunch of shares anymore.

I agree. Was feeling great yesterday but today changed my thinking. I will take 6k but I was hoping for more. Oh well.
I looked into the AMC shares thing and was told that they don't have the shares to keep dumping them on the market. The AMC CEO seems to be the only one able to keep the squeeze from happening and if he can't flood the market with more shares what is his next move? Also, why does he not want the shareholder to make money?BucketofBalls99 said:
So bottom line.......is this it? Is it over?
I got pissed and sold most of my shares but some of my relatives have convinced me to buy back in. I sold in the high 50s so if it stays down I might make some money on the trade.topher06 said:
People were ready to give up on GME at the first weakness, so these recent thoughts are normal. I bought more before close today.

So when will AMC issue the remaining 445MM shares that are authorized under that S-3?

Adam Aron just stated they only have 46,000 shares left to issue and the 20M issued this week came from the management incentive plan instead of going to the pockets of management and execs - they sold to the market to raise more cash and strengthen AMC....so I guess I can say that it won't happen again
They aren't asking for any more shares to go to the management incentive plan to replace the shares sold this week
So to answer this question again, and correctly...they won't

This makes me want to go back all in.
If the price stays where it is until open I could buy back into a much stronger position than I ever had.

I have a gut feeling it's going to be trending up by the end of the day today. Something just feels like people are about to make a lot of money.
