I only follow bitcoin during this time of year. I end up with getting some and then cash them out. I have a question.

WTF is going on with bitcoin? It was around $750 last year and I just looked at it and it is up to around $4000. That seems very crazy to me but like I said I only follow it this time of year and don't really trade it.

Even if not buying in on Veritaseum Veritas (VERI), this may be an informative speech for you depending on where you are in your crypto journey ...

I would think cryptocurrencies would help remove arbitrage but that Zimbabwe comment is interesting.

Similar situation happened earlier this year with ETH in Korea. The issue is exchanges that can work with bank accounts in local currency. Early adopter issue that wouldn't exist in a fully crypto economy.

Things have been pretty stagnant.....well at least with my holdings.

So ODN ( https://www.obsidianplatform.com/ ) has rocketed upwards. I go in on the ICO and it is up over 500%. It's essentially a platform upon which you can easily anonymously transfer money, communicate, trade, etc. Given the potential free speech issues worldwide, this may be where we need to go since the blockchain can't be shutdown so long as people continue to run the service. Given the low market cap for this coin, the potential increase is huge.

Curious and you may know the answer. This is the first ICO I want to participate in, and I haven't seen it in any of their email updates. Is it best to use MyEtherWallet to send eth for the ICO? If so will their tokens be sent back to that my wallet address on MEW? I'm just wanting to figure out how this process is going to work, in some regard they have been vague on the information which gives me a slight hesitation.

That is how it has worked for all previous ones I've been a part of.

They'll give you an address to send ETH to and then you'll do the same, and it will show up in your wallet

Do you just keep buying ethereum and adding it to your paper wallet?

I'm comfortable with my crypto holdings as a portion of my net worth so I'm not currently buying, but if I were then yes that's what I would do.

I've recently switched all of my crypto to a Ledger. So far I have been happy with it.
