Chinese dumping isn't because they WANT to, it's because they have no choice. Now, they either eat some of the cost or have to find someone new to dump to. And if there was someone other than us willing to take their underwater steel position, they would already be doing it. They can't afford to try and raise our price to offset tariffs, as our demand would naturally shrink. And they can't afford to not sell to us.

POWL is not acting like it has in the past. Instead of trading it I think it is a buy and hold stock for now.
I plan on holding until next year and watching it run and run and run.

I sold my short call...which means POWL will continue to bleed.

When I get shaken out and buy my short put back, that's back up the truck and buy time.

UPST, ideally earnings tomorrow would rip it to $85. From there, a 1 month consolidation between $75-$85 before a final rip to $115. But I always get hesitant with stocks that rise sharply INTO earnings.

Elon having footholds in social engineering AND Artificial Intelligence is just too much for one guy imo.

Elon was an initial investor in open ai when it was supposed to be open. His investment carried no equity in the original structure. Since then Sam has pissed all over that framework and made it closed source.

You may not trust Elon but Sam is the greater villain here.

I mean he may be the lesser of two evils, but I still think Elon has started to show a concerning level of focus on controlling big arms of social engineering.

I don't like one man having that much control.
