Bought TSLL
Stop $27.49
Target $34.85 - $37.75

Will move stop up aggressively as target approaches, because am expecting significant reversal there.

There is more leverage in this market than ever. Brokers are protecting themselves. Would recommend playing it without margin.

Remember, your sizing is your stop. Don't take more than you are willing to 100% lose.

Looks like an ending diagonal needing one more low. Once it ends, it should reverse back to between $7.50 and $11 within 2 years.

It can make moves in 1 month spurts. But I'd say sometime this year. Can't be certain.

One of the best traders I know just posted this. Read it, then read it again, then read it again. Print it out and sticky it to your screen.

--Trading without stops and averaging in losers. I am not the Fed and neither are you. Our capital is limited. Trade that way.

--Trading a method with uncertain or unknown risks--especially with derivatives products.
--Trades that are taken with FOMO as a primary reason for trading decisions.
--Trading a method that is unrefined/undeveloped with too much size.
--Trading even my most sound method with too much size (risk size is determined by my appetite for drawdown and how good the method is).
--Trading with my 'ego' , 'need to be right' and 'trader quality identity' on the line.

Woodsag has been asking about GOF.
I've been in it for many years in my IRAs. The dividend is paid monthly. And every month they set the dividend for the next month. It's very steady to rising dividend if you go back and look at them for past 15 years or so. The .182+ current monthly dividend per share (14.+ % annual) has been there for over a year now. For me it's a buy and hold for very long term. Not a hit it for a quick gain type of thing. Just take the monthly dividend. I've already gotten back all the money I put into it. And will continue to hold probably forever.

GOF - With instruments like this, don't buy it if you plan to sell at a higher target. You buy it for the dividend and nothing else and you expect to sell lower in the future (not that it will be, that's just the thinking you have to have).

Right now it's a 29% premium to NAV and mostly invest in bank loans and high yield corporate bonds.

Whats everyone doing with PLTR for Earnings? I lost most of my shares on $40 covered call when it ran in November. Those were in the 20's for cost average so made money but wish I had them still. Bought some again in 70s.

No. He's an all star technical trader on Elliottwavetrader.net, which believe it or not, has some services which have nothing to do with EW. He's an ETF and futures technical trader named Princely Matthew and routinely places top 5 in trading contests. It's a closed to subscription community for basic access ($99/month) with each trading service you add being an additional $99 monthly fee. Not very economical for small traders.

Failure to make a new high leaves the market in limbo. Still between the more immediate bullish scenario, and the "one more drop before new ATH's" scenario. The latter would probably retest Monday lows. Not only would it fake out all the retail bulls who bought the dip, but it would fake them out again by bottoming there and resuming bullish. Therefore, I prefer it lol, since market loves max confusion.

Could be. If so, 611-613 range SPY Monday is likely. If it fails, like I said, could spend the early part of the week re-testing Monday lows.

When the market is this overlapping, both on longer timeframes and shorter, it usually means its working on some degree of an ending diagonal. When it eventually gives up, the drop can be fierce. I still don't think we've seen the top yet, but I can't rule out tons of whipsaw in trying to get there.
