Was just thinking through some things, and with the Inauguration coming up in 3 weeks, you would assume that DJT (and maybe Tesla) would be a good day trader around then, right? It's bound to pop probably decent on that day for sure? I was thinking that it would probably fall in line with some events back like the election. Or would DJT also be a good longer term trade and ride the early part of his presidency? Anyhow, it was food for thought

Late reply, but on the nasdaq website it appears that twice a month is standard. On FinTel I see the numbers update more frequently though. I guess it just looks at the daily volume and adjusts based off that.

Once upon a time, SGMO was my entry to biotech stocks back in ~2017. Their share price doubled in a week, then went on a tear. Thought it would make me a millionaire.
Unfortunately their tech will just never work. Attempting to control gene expression through produced transcriptional regulators. This was a great idea pre-CRISPR. Now, everything they are attempting to do can be done easier, faster (development time) and reasonably safer with CRISPR.
That deal with Pfizer once upon a time was the one sign that a major pharma believed in their tech and was close to a company buyout if the trial worked.
This is a dead company after today.
Had my lowest SOXL buy at $27.15. Executed and almost immediately bounced hard.
That's the last of my cash though so if we go lower I'm pretty much stuck for now.

Checking in. We were at the hospital at 7am yesterday and wife was in labor from noon to 5am. Multiple setbacks, progress kept stalling, some little scares here and there where baby heartbeat dropped but always recovered. Ended up going the c-section route this morning. Baby is perfectly healthy and wife is doing good. Heine light got to meet his little brother today and we had all grandparents and some other family come. So all good here.
Cell service is mediocre and hospital WiFi is total crap and won't even let me on Texags. The little time I have, can't get much to load, so haven't been able to even really check in on my accounts much or the general market. From what I can tell, the aggressive bullishness failed and needs to reload quick. Profit taking that was delayed to the new year could take hold. This week there were some very controlled pension sell programs. That's why market was down strong yesterday morning with relatively small volatility spike. Quarter end / year end rebalancing and profit taking. Thursday, we find out what the rest of the market profit taking might look like, or if we get a save and a new year rally. Careful up here though. Profit taking needs end of cycle retail buying to provide the liquidity. Don't be a sucker. Let the market prove itself.
Happy new year. Force yourself this year to learn one trading technique that makes you initially feel uncomfortable. Getting out of the comfort zone is the best way to growing your strategy.

DNN might have hit a low. You can buy now, wait for the 2hr 8/21 EMA crossover which should come in around $1.86 - $1.88, or the 4hr 8/21 crossover which should be around $1.90, I have stop at $1.59. Would love to see $4.50 happen for target but I'd be happy with a trip back up to $2.40 area.
JBLU might see $7 first before seeing $9, but I still favor staying long toward $11-$12.50 with aggressive stop at $6.85 and conservative stop lower at $5.75
Anyone watching Cintas? They've had a steep drop recently breaking the box to the downside. I think it's oversold.

How low do we think TSLA can go? Sounds like the news about their sales dropping (slightly) YoY has spooked some folks. That's a little silly considering how detached the market value has been from actual EV sales.
