Is Powl a buy if it drops to 300, or should we wait for a lower entry point than that?
I'm newer to this, but it looks like a short time frame head and shoulders in the last few weeks with the waist in the low $290'sJosepi said:

Seems you need an anatomy lesson. Neck, not waist.

I am acutely aware of this. I've got a deer lease out there in McCauleySW AG80 said:fauxstradamus said:Haha. Would you be scared if I told you I am a doctor. Well some older men wear their pants so high sometimes it is hard to differentiate between the waist and the neck.
Just trying to help you out, Doc.
And Fisher County's patients do not have waists, generally speaking.
I agree, and cannot for the life of me figure out why Powell boxed himself in so tightly with the 2% target. I am generally hawkish on inflation, but even I would have used something like a 2-3% range, implicitly setting an average target of 2.5%. I agree that a sustainable 2% is unlikely (even considering we had that result for the past pre-COVID decade or so). The 2010s were likely an anomaly, and I think Powell outsmarted himself by setting such a rigid target.Chef Elko said:

what if the company is just so damn badass that it doesn't GAF about conforming to technical chart trends?
I do have a more aggressive path I'm watching as well, but it would need to continue accelerating and never see below $50 again. Certainly possible.EliteZags said:
welp now looks like they'll be joining QQQ soon as well..
I'm not worried about their earnings, but how much of it has been pulled forward in the stock price is something to keep in mind. They exploded post-election because the Red Wave will lead to more capex from O&G companies. O&G industry was their bread and butter before they diversified into data centers, now they'll have another market that will be unshackled by the new administration. Imo, the 90+ jump in POWL was shorts covering their asses.fauxstradamus said:
Prog...are you reading any whispers on POWL for the upcoming earnings next week? I got out too early (with a profit) and have been looking to get back in. This time for a long term hold. They seem to be dropping prior to earnings as they have in past.
