I've been watching ALAB for a good entry point. Looks like a reversal on the yearly. Anyone else looking at this one?

This one has almost doubled since I posted. Wish I would have bought calls but I just bought shares. I'm just going to hold long term.

HA, can you take a look at NextNav, Inc. (NN) and tell me your thoughts?

I was in it for about $2 a share, sold covered calls back before I knew what I was doing, and made a little money but it's now breaking out. It's up 171% on the year.

Tech company with its sights set on 3D GPS technology - already have some government contracts locked in place.

Trying to decide if I should get back in, and if so, when. I almost got back in at $7 because I had marked that as support but didn't pull the trigger. Does $9.50 seem like a good pivot point to keep an eye on?

Been looking for another ETF to diversify my long-term portfolio a bit.

I've been mostly focusing on BRK.B, QQQM, and SOXQ, but thinking about adding in RSP. (S&P 500 Equal Weight)

Any thoughts on this one? I'm trying to reduce my exposure to tech a bit, while continuing to add to the rest of the index, so this seems like the best choice.

Was thinking about putting more in a small-cap ETF, but I already have a considerable chunk of my 401k in Fidelity's small cap growth fund.

Thoughts or other recommendations?

Not the cleanest chart. You're probably going to want to set your stop a hair below the breakout line, I'd day $9.50. Below that, and anything impulsive breaks down and opens the table to long term chop or bearish potentials. $15-$18 area looks to be next resistance with ATH resistance around $15.25.

Not really familiar, although the historic returns beating the S&P 500 in the past 10 years is getting me interested.

What's the rundown? Focus on value and growth?

Edit: Seems like it's even more weighted towards tech than the index, so it's not quite what I was looking for. Although maybe another good option to add to my 401k at some point.

Much appreciated!

This was one of the first stocks I bought when I opened my Fidelity account - I found it when searching MMM stock on Yahoo and it popped up. So it's a bit of a sentimental pick. I wish I knew then even 10% of what I know now and I would have played it completely different but that's the game!

But I believe in the technology and its applications (for reasons both good and nefarious) and they seem to be getting a lot of government contracts so trying to decide where this thing is going to go. Maybe it'll dump on earnings and give me a chance to evaluate.

BLNK - expecting earnings take it to our $2.50 net free target. Stop should be $1.90 area maybe a hair lower.

I'd be hundreds of thousands of dollars richer and would stress way less if I had done this a long time ago. I open my account daily to be disappointed in my stock picks and timing of buys/sells and have seen SPYQQQ just churn along the last 25 years I've been investing. In the last year or so I've finally started just buying SPY and any trades are tiny percentages of my account.

It's so difficult! Ignorance is bliss

I've slowly become more hands off but I think the best idea is for me to open an separate account and have it auto invest into QQQ and SPY every paycheck. If we have a massive correction or I have a strong conviction to put a sizeable amount in a company, I'll have to move the money out of that account to my other brokerage and buy.

I would also say bitcoin, anything with skins in that game whether it be the bitcoin ETF or MARA, CLSK etc. I think Bitcoin will go well beyond 200k under DJT. FUBO I think will benefit as well, but after some legacy media shake down.

Anyone listen to my rambling and throw some at a bitcoin name? up 10% AH!

I changed companies 2 years ago. When I started w/the new company, I elected to put 50% in SS&P500 index and 50% in VPMAX. I'm not sure if I've opened that account more than a few times (to change contribution %). Zero stress. But my other accounts...refresh constantly checking to see if I'm up or down or what I should buy or sell next.

I've enjoyed 'trading' covered calls on SPY...gives me a little feeling of trading and scratches that itch. (I also frequent the sports betting kiosk too frequently to scratch the same itch)

seriously, I would think about what companies benefit on a DJT win, which ones do not. AAPL and Alphabet for example, big donors to the left. DIS same boat, I don't see them benefiting.

BES . . . thanks for the tip brother.

It smells like a meme stock without any genuine sustenance. I just wonder if a win is already priced in or if has serious legs for a WSB run.

PLTR is now +11 ATR on daily. The only other times it came close to this is Aug 2023 and early 2024. Both times it corrected around $7. $55, should it get there, is about as high as I see it going. But I've been wrong a bunch on underestimating strength in this this one, so do your own DD.

Pltr is going to be a long long hold for me. If it drops below $30, I'll buy more. But I won't sell this one.

If I had to guess it would be one of two things or a combination of both.

1) Short covering
2) Someone (fund/firm) is accumulating a position in it.

I am re-entering into TALO. The last low was at the 61.8% retracement level of everything since the COVID low, and I can count a leading diagonal up off that COVID low as well as 3-wave correction back down into the recent low. Stop is $9.25 and $7.30 can be a wider, more risky stop. Target is $30 but could move down if it makes another low yet holds $7.30 range.

I'm pretty bearish short term on oil, but every chart on its own. This one has really good R/R.

Interesting to hear the talking heads on CNBC connecting the election to SPX. Just heard someone say we all know the market will rally after the election, regardless of the outcome.

Bought 2 ARM calls for Nov15 $140. Not enough to get rich or risk a huge loss, but enough to play what looks like a great setup for upside where this potentially starts the final 3-wave move in a diagonal.
