To be fair, he was posting off and on earlier this year. But people would give flack saying he was advertising for his service and just in general critiquing what he was saying, so why would he stick around? Even when he would still drop in tips or call outs for the board

Meh. He was here trying to defend himself when people were upset about wwr, and then he was pushing his picks.

He is extremely difficult to follow. Like mega confusing.

Don't pay for stock tips from someone who touts their own abilities online.

Yeah, the WWR he was banging the table on didn't just cost folks money….it cost folks a ton of money due to his conviction. I'm still holding. In fairness he put us on several good ones before that. Which is why so many went in hard on WWR.

This. And quite frankly, OA made lots of people here a ton of money by educating them on how the market is played. He did this for several years asking only for donations to different charities. It wasn't until the thread took off that he decided to make it a business. And good for him too. We should celebrate Aggie successes. Don't be the ******** that tears down another Ag simply because they don't serve you.

Agreed, I don't know him personally, but he seems like a good enough fellow. I was in the paid service for a couple of months and tried to follow daily. I learned a lot of overall tips and general understanding of the market from him. The plays that I followed along with usually didn't work out, but I think that had more to do with the general direction of the market we were in.

I didn't have the time to follow along every day and should have just sat on my hands since I was (and still am) very much in a learning stage.

I might try the service again some day and don't hold any sort of grudge for the plays not working out better for me.

I really appreciate when he pops on here to chime in on things. Disappointed that he hasn't done that in a while but understand why as well since others here seem to be a little hostile.

Ultimately the responsibility is each of ours on what trades were made. My frustration early on was because of following him on a couple that he had extreme conviction with and said to set them and forget in IRA. A couple of those were my major losses. Listening to the folks that have remained here has been much more positive for me.

OA did a lot of teaching in the early years of the thread. That info is all still there. It's tough to go page by page looking for lessons, but it's all there.

I personally try to show exactly what I'm seeing and break it down as granular as possible. I'll admit, it's time consuming and redundant. Even more so when you understand that someone might be reading it for the first time. But if you're trying to help on a thread like, just saying "I'm buying here because it feels right" is not enough in my eyes. There's a ton of lurkers and constantly new people. I feel a duty to give a thesis when I advise something. But I don't fault those who don't. It's not easy. Personally, explaining things in writings reinforces my own knowledge and understanding, so I legitimately enjoy it.

But I agree that there's no reason to bash anyone here, especially someone who is the reason this thread exists and has done so much for many here and is a really good Ag. Let's be better. Be appreciative of the free knowledge you get. Feel free to ask questions. Be critical if warranted, but not insulting. We're all on the same team.

Yep. There's a class action solicitation now for any stock that drops double digit percentage points in a day. Getting tired of seeing them. And I have lost a crap load of money so far on SMCI.
