This has nothing to do with Amazon's internal tools... This is Amazon switching from on-prem MS Office to Microsoft 365 Cloud. We're talking Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, etc. The deal is just huge because of the number of licenses and years in the deal. No way Amazon would use Google anyway.

Amazon isn't like Google, they don't have their own suite of standard office tools. They own a few niche systems, but really their focus is on integrations with AWS environments (for obvious reasons).

You're partially wrong. They still use Chime and Workdocs for internal tooling, i will go out on a limb saying they will discontinue these products. In addition, I bet they will discontinue third party products utilized such as Slack.

Fair enough. Like I said, niche.

Everyone I've worked with at Amazon and Whole Foods in my prior life as a consultant used MS Office for everything but video conferencing. Slack was used, but not organization-wide and not very well. Chime was the big exception and they always made us use it. No one I knew in Finance, Ops, or Product Management actually used Workdocs.

Of course they'll replace Slack, but at their own peril. Teams sucks compared to Slack for channel and IM-type functions, but almost everyone gets rid of Slack when they go full 365 because the numbers just make sense. We'll see if they move away from Chime, but I'm sure they will.

Makes sense. Almost all of their layoffs in the last year was on internal tooling -- which is why i was pointing this out. Think of the amount of developer time they have for those few things.

If NFLX and/or TSLA has negative forward guidance, combined with the 10 yr yield spiking, then tomorrow morning has the potential to get near my $70/shr target to start my initial positions. Got just about to the 4300 level that was expected support. Need to start an uptrend now. A downtrend from here can turn October into what August looked like and lead to another September. EMA's are coiled up in a 50bp spread. Below 4300 and I'd look for next support to be the 200day around 4275. If you are a bottom ticker, buy at the open tomorrow and set your stop at 4275. Otherwise, there's no harm in waiting for confirmation.

What's happening degenerates!

It's been a month of Sundays since Ive been able to really catch up on the board. Read a zillion posts and pages and …..wow how different.

My 'project" is still moving and now at break neck speed. For those that know what I do you can imagine with all the world events I am a bit busy. Seems the pace and pressure to move things forward continues. I am good with that since I ain't getting younger.

Trading has been really tricky unless you're Josey Wales. I'm pretty much relegated to alerts I set at night, check when they go off and confirm yes or no for the trade. Maybe 5-6 trades a week. Sheesh that was hard to say.Macros making is sporty. Still drive scalping on a Monday and/or Friday here and there because I have a trading problem. Scalps in and out from the phone app. Well..I blame fully blame 30k for the iPad setup and mobile trading screen.

For the love of all things trading can we just get volatility back!

I see a bunch of new folks which is good to see. But always remember we own our own trades, the decisions, execution and risk management.

Thanks to all those that DM me or have my personal info and check in. Miss all you guys.

Yes I have WWR for those that are wondering…..I managed those shares 'back in the day' and am sitting net free+++ on the balance so if it goes it goes. If not next one up.

OA's service is super educational is you haven't been on it. I can't listen is through the day (at the moment) but the if this then that charts and recorded videos he provides are worth the price of admission. I use those in addition to my own homework to identify high probability trade setups. Execution and decisions are up to me. If you can listen in/action live… even better. Many of you know I have been in Redler's room, VS, Access A, Elite, etc., etc. over the years to hone and learn new things. OA's I like best as its holistic.

Went to the TN vs Ags game last weekend. Great seats. Awesome time other than the product I watched on the field.

Well I may be running out of characters. You guys keep it going so I have reading to catch up on!

Powell explaining that Fed thinks the effects of monetary policy will be showing up soon. Indicating that all of the moves they have made haven't really changed things. Sounds like pain is coming.

Fed doesn't have a handle on this. Rates will remain high, market is reacting maybe?
