no body wanted to buy treasuries sending rates higher...higher rates send equities down...someone else can give better write-up...but that's the short and dirty...nobody wants to buy our worthless paper with all the stupid spending done by our corrupt govt.

I did also. Read enough to feel its just another short driven hit piece. report was leaked and even then I read it still wasn't accurate as they found no evidence.

Maybe? Needs to have body or wick both ABOVE and BELOW previous candle, which it did for SPY and ES but did not for SPX.

Beer candles show back to back indecision candles which can be typical for small retracements and basing in a bullish setup.

4300 is key level. Hold that and potential to boom is there. Break below that and bearishness creeps back in.

All 3 of my charting services show it did this for SPX.

As per normal, I was focused on QQQ. After yesterday's candle, I'm surprised we actually made a lower low today. On the tape, it looked like the bulls were going to make a stand mid-morning before they finally gave up.

Yup. You are correct. About 40 cents higher.

Something to watch for sure. Market has to prove itself. But look at November, January, and April. All similar that held support on the retracement and then continued upward. That candle only opens up potential. Doesn't signal confirmation. Stay with parameter we know. Watch support.

I love trading cpe, they are highly leveraged so pretty volatile when oil price is moving, reminds me of oas back when i worked there

It seemed to at least indicate a direction for today but we are still above 4300 on SPX.

Maybe my chart is messed up but I see an outside bar on SPX's candle yesterday from the previous day?

Chances of further decline over the weekend? All eyes on Gaza this weekend. Could be a few shenanigans on Monday, I think we are in a no trade zone for my comfort level.

Gap fill day?

If Tesla decides to signal today about good earnings tomorrow, then it may happen.

Of course though, the exact opposite can happen. The market seems poised to make a dramatic move either way. Not saying it all hinges on Tesla, but they could be the start.
