i hope so. My roommate in business school was from Uruguay and I was talking with him about it this weekend. Him talking about Milei was probably the first time he's had nice words about Argentina.

He's dating a cabinet minister's daughter back in Uruguay and said the leadership is all paying very special attention to that election in Argentina. Their elections are next year.

Yeah BS it's gone south ever since his recommendation….there's been no up….SDC was another one….hope those guys are getting their moneys worth on his services. I wouldn't pay a nickel

In all fairness he did tell people to start buying in the $4-5 range before it spiked to over $11 in early 2021. If you went "net free" at that point then you are not in any trouble even if you are holding to this day. Problem is for those of us who drank the kool aid a little bit too strong and bought more when it went back down and are now still holding on to this turd hoping for a reversal that will probably never come.

I think the issue is that most of the folks on this board bought into WWR after that spike, and were encouraged to "buy the dip" as it continued to drop.

It was a ****ty pick during a crazy era of small cap mayhem. He's had plenty of good ones. Unfortunately, WWR will forever be the shining example of bad "mass accumulation" picks.

We're all big boys and girls, but call a spade a spade.

I think some of you need to avoid conflating short term trading with long term investing. You have to decide if you're going to be active or not. If you're not going to be active, buy index funds through DCA and be happy.

You all remember WWR and SDC, but how about:

MARA: $2 to $83
NIO: $3 to $65
NET: $25 to $200+
ASAN: $30 to $140
CVNA: $12 to $50+
ROKU: $100 to $480

Understood. I just think we are going to 5% so TLT is going to continue to go down before we have any type of consolidation period on treasuries where they level off.

So longing TLT here is going against my thesis and I'm not ready to take that trade. But I'm also not as diligent if a trader as you with the ability manage the trade as I float through daily living (people still out there buying houses)

A 70% win rate as a trader is uncommonly good. It's really about saying "hey, I'm wrong, I'm getting out". You also have to enter like a sniper.

I was able to put in a limit buy to close order on an open put I have on my mobile, and it shows under my activity/orders tab on my desktop. But I can't replace the order on desktop, get the same error message.

On mobile when I tried that - I got the error "not found in account" lol - their devs better pitter patter and get stuff fixed

I think i will finally change brokers since I can't trade today anyway - I liked fidelity just because my IRA and stuff is with them - but I think for my brokerage account I'll change. IBKR maybe? I don't really like ToS - I'm not interested in hard clients in 2023 - but I think maybe IBKR uses a hard client too.

You read my mind. These exact 2 tweets are what always resonated with me. He must know something we don't and has performed diligence the average investor has not, so clearly this will be a winner...Time will tell how all of this pans out, but the loss I have taken on this is my fault and a painful lesson learned.

I just don't understand how they have not gotten a grant from the government when they were giving out money like candy… Time will tell if they land one. If they do this they I'll be halted because of how much the stock will fly.

Ive wondered this as well. Theyre close to running out of cash. Since they have no debt (at least that I can tell), I wouldnt think theres a huge Chapter 11 risk? Unless theyve racked up a large AP balance? Im clearly not a finance guy though so maybe someone could explain their situation to me.

Just go read the Liquidity note from their last 10-Q. It's all in there.

"When considering the above events and conditions in the aggregate, the Company believes such events and conditions raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern within one year after the date that these Interim Financial Statements were issued."

Trying to avoid politics here, but I wonder if WWR didn't meet diversity requirements to get money or the fact it's in a red state. If you took politics out of the equation, this is a textbook example of a company that should have been the recipient of those funds.

Local news did a write up a few weeks ago and the WWR guy made it seem like things are humming right along:
