Had an acquaintance that traded into $3.5 mil during dot com era. It was a legit gain. He retired. Age 43. Came back to the workforce 2 years later in same company and his old job. He lost it all.

One trade today I set alerts on based on yesterdays move. Fills didn't happen at same time but got them.

Trails set on balance. Can't babysit. May leave money on table but I'll take the gains on the scalp.

I don't feel sorry for him. He got greedy if he lost everything. If he has retired and diversified he might have taken a hit but wouldn't have lost everything. I don't recall spy ever going to 0 in my lifetime.

I thought today would have traps. No great insight for the remainder of the day. The range is really wide. Above 4376 would be worth considering long. Short below 4366. I would wait until after 2:30 eastern to consider any day trades.

Interest rates rose and it decimated high growth/speculative stocks which was (and still is) about 100% of all of the ARK funds. Additionally, there was little to no risk management by Cathie Wood as her funds multiplied in size.

Don't feel bad - a lot of people had their money completely incinerated by ARK across all their funds.

Remember to buy low sell high - not the opposite.

Xerox isn't a trading stock so the risk is minimal. If it goes down a dime or up a dime isn't a big deal, but you'll capture the dividend, look at it's chart.
