I own XOM and PXD. I sold CVX and posted here the day XOM:CVX spread broke $50.
XOM within the energy sector is about as diverse as one can get. It's in all segments of energy....kinda like owning SPY for diversity in the overall market.
From Sioux Falls, SD to Cape Girardeau, MO, the highways were packed. Gas stations along the way stating the holiday has begun. API and EIA numbers next week will show draws. Many times the draws surface BEFORE the holiday because logistics to keep all service station tanks full prior to the holiday keeps the country running through the holiday. With that being said.....dont care.....we'll get draws reported next week.
From KC to St Louis on I-70, posted speed is 70mph. If you were doing 80mph you better be in the righthand lane. It was normal bumper to bumper. I'm sure I-35 and I-45 will be the same.
BTW, I shot the bird at the Recession,....wont be no recession.

There is an AI bubble for sure, but I think some people are seriously underestimating where NVDA fits into this. They have zero competition at the moment. They are the only ones selling pickaxes in the AI goldrush.
There is a reason MSFT, GOOGL, META, OpenAI, Twitter, and anyone else training these models are buying their A100 and H100 GPUs by the tens of thousands.

AI is just the last big pop for this mega cap run. P/E's have gone full stupid - NVDA will have a P/E of 200:1 or better at the open today. I don't care if they cured covid, that's insane. and in a follow up tweet, OA said: "rare NVDA put leap opportunity".

i've done nothing today.
fed spew and the market has gotten really slow early in the day.
Grabbed NVDA as it reclaimed 370 after the dip into the 360s. Went 1/10th size and down to 40% left. Targets and stops are in. Now it's Aggie baseball time.
Have a buy on NVDA at $350 that I doubt will execute anytime soon, but just in case.
I did jump into SOXL in AH last night and so far, glad I did. Got in at 17.38 and it looks damn unstoppable now.
Also made the grave mistake of selling GOOGL back when it hit $100, but said screw it and jumped back in at $123.50. It was a personal rule of mine to never sell it, should've stuck with my guns like I've done with AAPL.

Careful with longs from here. NVDA pumped a lot of hopium into the markets while we're in another debt limit crisis. Hedge your bets.

Did okay with some Netflix calls and SPX. Up about 1% this week and all things considered I think that's a win.

Looking at VFC, their stock price has been having issues for a while though. I'm sure that didn't help. Weren't they the ones who were ****ting on oil companies when all of their products are petroleum based?

Public companies i agree, but there are tons of privately held companies out there that have profit as a secondary or tertiary goal. Read "let my people go surfing" for a good book about patagonia as an example

Couple stocks to watch and coming into major support here are CZR and TGT. I'm worried TGT is gonna dump but looks like it put in a red hammer today. Maybe a right shoulder to form?
CZR is coming into major support around $40. If this doesn't hold, it should go back to test lows from the fall around $33 range.
