That sentiment is exactly why I pulled the VIX call off the table. So blame me for the further move down I guess. I was hoping to grab it again after the pull back. What a slide.
I didn't. I'll be honest. That move this morning was a strong one, but lots of fake outs in this market, continues to be a scalpers market.FJ43 said:
Please tell me y'all saw this coming chart wise?
I should have followed this as it is 50% within a few minutes.Spoony Love said:
Maybe this is an alert and maybe Farmer can comment on this:
XOM expiry 3/24 - $105C is at .22 right now.
It paused at 105 today before it slid down further. I think there is a good chance it will pay either by end of day or early tomorrow
It seems like XOM always bounces/falls at least 50% of the move on the next intraday after a big move. I guess that's the same logic as the MT, but I'm tempted to buy some cheap calls for tomorrow in the 104-106 range and just set a reasonable profit exit to make some dinner money.Spoony Love said:I should have followed this as it is 50% within a few minutes.Spoony Love said:

From a veterinarian's perspective. I made some money trading Teledoc during COVID but I suspect was the highpoint. For the things techno-ag mentioned, there will probably always be some demand. But I think in time, people will learn that a hand's on exam is critical for many things.techno-ag said:Seems like there's a lot of virtual appointments for things like ED, weight loss, ADHD and things like that. Some of these companies advertise and get around the prescription by having you consult with their own medical people. Then they mail it to you.FJ43 said:BaylorSpineGuy said:
I don't know much about the space, but I can take a rough look at a chart. It looks like dog crap. It's down like 90%+ from ATH. The Apple stock app has their EPS at a ripe -88 EPS.
I don't know what the company can do to start generating a profit.
Personally, Cathie Wood has been dead wrong for 18 months running and refuses to give in on her horrible stock picks. She's the female Cramer. I've been wrong plenty on this board, but this one doesn't look great.
Trading below the 50/200 MA's and I'm willing to bet they're gonna get nailed further after today's hike.
Agree on Cathy. More interested in the directional movement of the industry.
Chart looks like crap. I just 'hear' more and more people using 'virtual' doctor visits. Obviously not the level you're engaged with.
Will they learn to make a buck? Dunno. Someone will figure it out I suppose.
Thanks for the response.

Bought XOM 3/24 106Cs for .14, because why not? Bid 105Cs at .21 that haven't filled yet, and probably won't

Dude. Traded for about 30 minutes at lunch. Went big (for me) on SPY 395Ps, then made myself sell out at 1 pm to get back to work. Coulda made $3-4k easy if I'd held on until 2 pm
Where's it go from here?

Unless you make $3-4K in 2-3 hours at work.
The technological barrier to entry for virtual visits is low, which is why most companies are creating their own for their systems rather than paying another party. And for low risk things like hair loss, it's not even a video visit, but just chat in an app.spud1910 said:From a veterinarian's perspective.
