Last I knew, CHK was mainly a NG company. Them being hit with the NG cost dive isn't surprising.

XSP can be hard to find if you're on mobile or web (at least for TD)

Search for $XSP.X. The call 30k posted should be filling for just over buck (and rising)

Hmm... I'm using TOS on my laptop. I don't have any issues finding XSP or the option chain, just couldn't find one near $1.

I played small but I paid for my lunch.

bid/ask with XSP is always pretty wide. Even when 30k posted that the bid on 411c was ~1.30. I put in an order for $1.01 and got filled within 30sec.

i tend to think we gap fill to close. you'd want over HOD for that play.

was consolidating, holding gap on higher time frames, was watching bullish flow and simply looking for a small push off LOD. I viewed it as a high probability trade.

maybe action is better at 2:30

Historically how are relative low volume days like today trend the following day?

You're better at this than I am, but I bet their rig count will drop and their earnings announcement on 2/22 (after several months of declining NG prices and lack of a good market for Haynesville) will probably force the stock lower. That might be a better time to buy if you're looking to get in. But again, take my opinion for what it's worth

Just like with equities, treasuries can reach a technical imbalance. Looking at TNX, it was starting to feel low and if you compare the trajectory of its move off the highs it actually kind of mimics SPX with a 6M delay. It has more room to bounce here but I definitely wouldn't get too "bullish" on upside in yields. It's showing short term pop, mid term potentially trending back into the 2's where it would form a battle zone between the three scenarios.. renewed inflation forcing FED to continue or resume rate hikes, soft landing indicating a return to pre-COVID low rate norms, or indecision leading to.. indecision and choppy range bound rates until new data.
