Days like today make me feel way to good about myself. Makes me want to sell all the cows and put it into this trading thing. I know better…. Makes me nervous lol…

days like today are stupid. no indicators should justify a bull market, yet here we are.

It really depends on how badly you want to permanently lose the cow money. Or, another way to look at it is counting the number of days you felt worse than you feel good today.

Well….moving my 401K into long bonds has proved a good move. Went over around 3.71 yield and now under 3.40. Need that long bond yield to keep dropping! Me and Gundlach, baby!

100% correct…. Learning to hit singles and not try for the HR is what I've been working on this month. It cost me to day a bunch, but I'm learning to like my singles. Especially on days like today when I thought starting the day I would be lucky to be green with some of the trades
I left in place yesterday.

2022 January highs and October 22 lows would make SPX model T at 4155. I'm curious to how things react there. I keep giving myself more reason to look into puts but I know I'm only kicking myself being one sided.

I started putting new money into my broad market bond fund in my 401K.

I don't know about yield but my price has ticked up.

Are you thinking this increase in price continues? My bond proces are down around 11% since January 2022

Last year was worst year for bonds in 240 years. Unlikely to repeat. I moved to bonds in Late November. Yield will fall as prices rise and vice versa.

Recession is eventually coming even as this short squeeze happens now. Bonds are great during recession, particularly the long bond.

I can't choose short or long bonds. It's just our broad market bond fund in the 401K

I've got a little chunk sitting in stable value, I may move a piece of that to broad market since I don't have much in there. Broad market is probably only 4% of my total

Who even knows. We are pretty far extended. I wouldn't be surprised to see a surge upward in the first 30 min to 1 hour and then sell off hard, like 75-100 points on SPX.

But I am watching for now.
