Freeport got FERC approval
"The FERC has formally granted Freeport LNG approval to "commence commissioning, including cooldown, of Loop 1 LNG transfer piping and commissioning and reinstate service of the boil off gas (BOG) management system." The letter was dated January 26, 2023 and the approval was based on an inspection conducted by the FERC and PHMSA onsite on January 25, 2023.
Moving forward, Freeport will need to request and receive approval for any further activity. This includes securing permission to "reinstate service for Loop 1 LNG circulation to enable ship loading to Dock 1 and to cooldown, recommission, and reinstate service of the liquefaction trains, including rundown piping to tanks."
Based on Freeport's initial request this week, the Loop 1 and BOG work will now take 11 days, placing the completion of that process on Monday, February 6, 2023."

I was slow in seeing your posts today, unfortunately. But I appreciate the lessons anyway, as I go back and recreate the situation at the time.
For those using the 8/21 ema lines, is there any benefit or downside to having a longer ema to look at as well? I added a 35, and it seems that when the 8 crosses both it's almost always a tradeable event or start of a trend. Only exception seems to be when it gets choppy, but it seems that can be managed

/NG options expired at 1:30 ct today and the current futures contract is also expiring.I know nothing but suspect that movement was likely repositioning. Kind of like monthly OPEX cycles.

No, depends on objective. I use the 20/50 on the 30 minute chart for stocks.

It's a bullish close and bulls are in control right now. We are in a zone that has failed a couple of times in the last few weeks including that wild 4100+ day we had with one of the inflation data releases. Can't remember if it was cpi or ppi.
4090 will give some resistance I think if we get there. Volume is slightly down.
Gun to head, I think tomorrow will be consolidation.

Will increase dividend in coming months once the reach zero net debt, meaning cash and equivalents = long term debt.
Surprise was the new diesel upgrades to Port Arthur refinery. They basically said they are going to make a fortune on it starting in 3Q23.
If you watched stock price today during the call:
1. Down when no increased dividend announced
2. Stabilized when increased dividends promised later this year
3. Rocket ship rest of day after refinery discussion.
