Keep an eye on this geopolitical storm brewing. The US is about to send Abrams with Germany and Poland about to send Leopard2 tanks, plus a ton of missiles. These are offensive weapons that will destroy what's left of Russia's army. I don't shed a tear for Russia but if no one stops Putin, he very well could launch WMD's into Europe and here as his final FU to the world. He's not expected to live to see another Christmas so he has nothing to lose.Quote:
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said the United States must provide Ukraine with the military equipment it needs to defeat Russia and insisted ongoing support is 'in America's best interest'.
Pompeo, who is also the former Director of the CIA, said providing Ukraine with support is the fastest way to end the war.
He spoke amid reports the US is preparing to send a shipment of M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, while European countries also weighing sending further arms to Kyiv.

A Russian frigate carrying 'unstoppable' Mach 9 nuclear-capable hypersonic cruise missiles has deviated from its course and is sailing towards the US coast, reports have claimed.
The Admiral Gorshkov, armed with Zircon missiles which Vladimir Putin boasts has 'no equivalent in the world', is being closely monitored by NATO navies during its maiden voyage.
Earlier this month, the frigate was escorted through British waters by the Royal Navy, and French and Spanish ships then escorted it through the Atlantic.

Don't forget about all the Leopards that Poland and others are sending. Same with Germany saying they won't do anything about Poland doing X, and etc. Could get interesting here in a few weeks to a month.
This is my concern. My wife is from Moscow and went to University with someone that was very close to Putin a few years ago, though he has fallen from favor a bit now. I could see Putin wanting to make a mark if he knows he doesn't have much time left.ProgN said:

Rumor is from numerous sources is that he's being ravaged by cancer and possibly Parkinson's. People close to him don't expect him to make Christmas.
