Model T for November 17 low and November 23 high is $396.50 so do we wait and see if we can regain that for calls?

The morning was frustrating, but fortunately it moved slow enough that I was able to move my stops to break even.
Gave one more try on a QQQ short on the touch of the descending trendline since Wednesday afternoon, and it worked out. Already covered all but 15% of my position. Only went in half sized, as this isn't my bread and butter type of trade.

Has anyone successfully gotten one of the larger brokers to reduce option fees below the $0.65 per direction per contract they all seem to charge? Not sure what kind of volume you need to show to get that moved.
Anything that can be sold in this market will be sold. Bull traps galore for awhile.
Yes, just ask. I've gotten it reduced with some brokers. I've also been denied before when I didn't have much of a history with another broker. Doesn't hurt to ask.topher06 said:

You can probably get it reduced to $0.50. That's the base rate with Etrade anyway.

I got $.15 with E*Trade. My buddy told me basically just act like you know what you're doing even if you are still learning. I was such a noob and I just showed what I paid in fees and said I was putting more in my account to grow. I think they called me asking a few basic questions and approved it pretty quick. This was 1.5 years ago though

Friend of mine got .45 on TD maybe 3 years ago by just calling and saying he was thinking about consolidating some accounts, told them how much he had spent on fees on the last month or so (he was probably trading 20 contracts or so a day...buy 10 sell 10) and asked if they would give him a discount. They did it on the spot iirc
