That's pretty huge continuation after Friday's massive day. This would fill the cup part if we hold here today.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but I wish I'd thrown more money at it in the 30s. I threw a lot of money at it, did not like the choppiness at the time so I cut my investment in half.
was thinking of trying OXY weeklies if we get a nice dip this morning, but could just keep running XOM weeklies. They've been great for 3 weeks now.
I avoid 0dte pretty much 99% of the time. I go 2 or 3 days out and OTM for a quick scalp, 1 week out OTM for slower moves. Friday I did play a very small 0dte when FJ called it out, good volume came in and a nice wick down that was bought up quick.SoTXAg09 said:

I hit that false breakdown today with 0Dte, but otherwise have been getting my ass kicked. I'm red for the day so far.
The BA I posted at lower arrow has moved to +3 ATR. Trim, sells covered or sell all depending on your strategy.
Just my 2 cents.

I think we get RSI to power up into bull supply zone (>70) on SPX and QQQ soon. That was complete Ws on both charts. I'm in SPX3775C 0Dte.

XOM,....the above post still stands, no change.
Going forward, run to Ex-Div 11/14, then a run to payout 12/9 and a run just after payout. No changes. Bullish
3-2-1 crack spread is projecting a greater than $4 earnings in Q4. Ways to go yet but looks great to date. Bullish
Brent at $99.03, WTI at $93.21, spread at $6 that is normal for months now. CVX:XOM spread at $72 - not unusual but upper end of range. Bullish, because there is nothing bearish to account for. WTI:XOM spread at $20, no issues.
XOM continues to unload California assets. California is not friendly to Big Oil. "Underperforming Assets" have to go. 2 assets. One of those is a $2 billion dollar loss and Gov Newsome is allowing it to be charges against profits. (Didn't realize it needed a Gov's approval - so XOM will likely owe no tax in CA this year. LOL!) Fox business has a story on Santa Barbara asset if interested. Never the less, Bullish (California needs $12 gasoline)

Mid-Term Elections. I want to type Bullish, but I honestly don't know the market move should it be a Red Wave or a Blue Hold.
If you believe Brent is going to $120 (and I do) than WTI scores $114. If WTI hits $114 that's $135 for XOM assuming spreads maintain themselves. That $135 is just under the $136 the Citi analyst projected for XOM. Hmmm,... And, the SPR has to be refilled, so that is supportive for crude. Brandon said he would refill the SPR between $67 and $72 per barrel <- okay there's your floor price. I guarandamntee you crude is not going below $80 for 18 months. My 87 octane with 10% ethanol is $3.39 and 87 Octane is $4.49.
My clock says bullish overall. Likely some pullbacks along the way, but not sure how far down a pullback will go - not far.
Rest of the market, if it pukes, the energy sector will follow, but will fair better then the rest of the sectors.

Penny stock update. My fun money has doubled with ATLX. The name change from Brazil Minerals to Atlas Lithium has helped their shares I think.

I'm really surprised aapl has done as well as it has today. Their largest manufacturer is dealing with covid outbreak + china numbers are up. And they have already hinted at the production will be slower to get the phones out because of it.

It looks like we should have keyed off of FJ's approach from Friday. There was a drop with volume reaction. Close to the same thing on Friday and here we are with a rally, just like Friday
