Agree 100%. That was much more hawkish than last months speech. Odds are favoring a 75bps hike in September after the speech.

I think we are going back to the 408-414 box. Speech seemed vague, no slow down in rate increases. Other Fed directors will have to come out and contradict that to see a recovery. We've known for awhile this rally was going to be short lived. We may be seeing that right now.

-900 is more likely. Everyone who thought the Fed was done with rate hikes and would reverse soon are exiting their positions. Powell confirmed more rate hikes are coming and they plan to hold them there for a while.

This area, right here, 4120-4130 is key support and a pivot. I'm obviously not entering yet

At this point, I'd look for a false breakdown for a retracement or loss of 4120

Back after a couple years. 30k taking winners often and cutting losses inspired me to be disciplined. Paper traded, now only doing shares instead of options. Swung AMPY for a decent day. I'm out.

Nice day for me and I'm out.

Scalped the following 0dte on Spy:

Won 407P early with the initial drop for 40%
Lost 429C when I didn't cut it, and it's worthless now. Easier to let it expire now
Won 408P a little later when it started falling. Should have held a runner but I'm busy the rest of the day and may not be able to watch.
