May not be his choice, but seems like a good chart for a 401k account hold...

I did finally buy some OSTK back in June and will likely add more at some point. Crazy low value and risk reward

Seems like a good buy with tight stop loss at $24.50

Also, anyone have thoughts on FUBO finally having good earnings and seeming to bounce? Something to add or just leave alone?

Tough one. Could go to 100 or 0. I'm bagholding to be very honest. I was and maybe still am sold on their idea of interactive sports betting.

I was eyeing OSTK Sept 16 $30 strike calls Friday. Wanted to wait to see macro direction out of the box first.

Well since OA is lurking and I'm always looking to see his take, the stock is $ENVX.

It has a lot of mass accumulation indicators… goal posts, stage analysis, fundamentals…. Left side of chart to trade against. <12 and I will start to accumulate via shares and selling covered puts.

Cohodes and hidden pivots are sold on it so that bodes well fundamentally. They don't mess around in that regard.

I will try to post some charts tomorrow but I honestly think the risk reward is silly good on this one.

I love the sector and have a sizeable stake in WIRE. No denying the technicals are pointing to a bottom having been put in on ENVX, and it just broke out of the first level cup completion around $14.15. $15.20 area is next. Model T full range move is in the $23.37 area and that would be my exit target.

For those who've been around markets cycles like we are in...

Are high beta growth stocks like FUBO the first to bottom and also the first to start exploding when the market shifts back bullish...

Are they a bit of a leading indicator that a macro reversal has occured?

Or are they last? Or is there no correlation?

The generals are the last to bottom and first to recover.

Amazon, Microsoft, Nvidia, Berkshire etc

Got ya.

So when we were seeing in late 2020 and early 2021 when beta stocks that I made and then lost a ton of money in were basically signaling the euphoria phase of the market cycle.

Thanks for the back up! Looks like an easy tradable stock to net free. Looking for a wave down to start entering. Patience and discipline are fundamental things I've learned from you and others over the years

Exactly, I'm in SPY calls that went in the money Friday allowing me to short shares risk free on 25%. I also have my Put hedge at $400. This up and down (I used back and forth) box will present another round of easy trading. Have to wait for it to happen and be ready to pounce.

Played tiny... snagged a 303P on QQQ early in the day. Sold half at 100% rode the other down to about a 400% victory. Was probably the most stress free trading day I've just about ever had.

Just base hits you moron, it's that simple.

At Jamaica Beach RV Resort. Made 2 scalps. One laying down relaxing and one on the crapper. In and out. Best way for me.

Still at the red neck haven of Jamaica Beaxh RV Resort.

Played a QQQ call early and cut it for loss. Flipped to puts after a retest of former support and made it back plus some.
I'm proud today of not holding that first play too long and then averaging down, etc. I made a semi-decisive cut and moved on.

3 green in a row.

+0.84% on the day.

4 in a row, scalped a slight pullback inside of 1 5 minute candles early in AM. 4 green in a row.

5 green in a row. +2.11% realized on the day.

Swinging VIX calls with a September strike.

I didn't post daily P&L this week. Think I'll just start posting it weekly not to clutter up board.

I'm adding to my rules to only take 1-2 plays per day. This will make me more patient for entry.

So since I'll be taking less trades, I am going to post a daily trade recap with a chart so I can journal what I saw on the chart and maybe get feedback and learn from that.

Hoping I can learn from this with wins and losses.

After having 5 green in a row last week, back to getting my face ripped off. I will learn risk management one day, but that was not this past 5 days.

Also this P&L is a little off. I have a sizable position in September VIX calls that are still open but down.

Although I reckon unrealized losses are the same as real, right 30K?

OA, what technicals and what fundamentals do you look for when determining what stocks become a mass accumulation play for you?

Is it sorta the William O'Neil philosophy? Cup with handle, increasing EPS, increasing revenue, sector strength, etc.? Or is it something altogether different. I know you've mentioned goalposts on stocks over $20 before….

Would appreciate your insight.

I like $U and $FSLY for accumulation right now. $U might need to cool off a bit because it's been on a tear, but both are poised for a big breakout IMO. Take a look at them and let me know, and anyone else, thinks. TIA

Enjoy yourself, but don't plan on beating the house at 6:5 blackjack, unless you're a card counter.

In which case, plan on being taken out in the desert by casino staff and shot.

Fun fact.

Tons of card counters have been banned or worse. There has never been an instance of a "controlled shooter's" action be rejected.

It's garbage.

I spent an unhealthy amount of time studying this and watching a litany of videos. I do believe it can improve odds above a reasonable "roll of the dice" but the Diamond rubber is the key. That said, I have had multiple sessions of 25+ throws but countless more sessions of less than 4 lol.

I did build a table with my neighbor a few years ago and practiced all the time. Was good fun.

Tell ya what, I'd like to see how others describe my approach. After all, I've given the specific approach and process to a lot of long-time people on this forum.

I'm going to save having to make some blunt statements by suggesting we eliminate biotechs from the discussion. I held PFE for 4 years and GILD for 8 years before they finally hit a mass needed FDA winner. One of them did go net free on a spike, while the other stayed dormant during the wait.

Anyone not independently wealthy who invests more than play money into biotechs really have no business or understanding to do so. And anyone who uses a biotech to challenge me isn't worth my time. Nuts! Didn't avoid the bluntness.
