Glad you like it! Not sure which flower….I know gin is from juniper trees but that's it. I like to drink gimlet's and I'll mix it with rossms sweetened lime, a fresh squeezed lime, and I add a splash of St Germaine, all on ice. Very nice beverage.

Nolet's is my favorite gin, and it's not close. It puts the others to sleep IMO.

I've become indecisive. Nothing like when I was on my green streak. Don't take profits fast enough, don't cut losers quick enough.

It was like I finally broke 80 on the golf course then shot over 95 the next 2 rounds.

For example, you probably want to be out if you make a new LOD. In general, if you catch an up trend, you can move your stops up to be the opening price of the prior bar, 1 min or 5 min depending on your strategy. You'll get nasty moves that stop you out, but this is mechanical and it is harder to lose this way, but you can maximize moves.

Here's an execution example of what I was talking about. I realistically would have entered at 7.5 and exited at 10. This is 0 DTE right before close, therefore you don't give anything an inch of room.

Here is an example of one that didn't work out today for me. Normally these types of setups work, or at a minimum, they give you a graceful exit.

10 contracts at $12. Stopped out at $10. $2K down the toilet.

The stop however, was the right call. It never got back to entry price. Losing is part of the game. What I want you guys to see is that the setup failed. Therefore I was out!

Really appreciate your post and transparency. There are many different approaches to trading but most have several bedrock principles in common.

Here's my 2 cents. I've been trying to learn options since May of 2021...

Start SMALL. No matter what type of trading you decide to do. START MICROSCOPIC.

My account I started with in May was way too large for me to be learning on (it was still tiny).

Some people say paper trade, but I can't do that. I cannot take it seriously enough unless I have real skin in the game.

Yep, I was doing fine without hard stops 2 weeks ago when I was on my green streak. This newfound apprehensiveness to take an L (lack of discipline) means I don't need to trade without them.

No Prog! You let the sell off get you to a place where you're now burned out, when the trading has been the easiest. What did I try to teach everyone? That once the markets turn, and you are able to trade against the left side of the charts, it's the easiest money you'll have available.

We closed the lowest macro cups which means consolidation and some uncertainty. My tweets told you that was coming and expect this back and forth. Happens a million times, almost every time.

It also means the easiest money making are over, but stage 2 breakout will also have great opportunities, even if not as easy. You got this!

Find a new and different hobby. I train. I'm not fast but I get 100 miles running and 200+ miles cycling done each month. Riding my bike now.

You have not become indecisive, the markets have. You made money because markets had broken out, and now they are consolidating. All that I said to Prog is applicable here.

This is true… although I was at my best when things were a bit range bound… being bear biased and trying to catch the perfect put option play has been what's smoked me over the last 6-7 trading days.

Amen, brother. I suck at running, so I usually aim for 400 miles on the bike a month. Typically I ride more in a year than I drive I'm straight addicted to Zwift racing. I need to do some crits or something in the real world too.

I'm riding Real Ale Ride in October. Who's game!?
