Maybe that previous close or pivot (don't remember which it was, honestly) was significant? I still could have milked another $1800 out of that trade if I'd held on until it started rolling over. But again, I hit my target and I'm happy about that.

Now it would have been another $4200. Crap, I wish I would have left runners.

As the fundamentals would suggest, bitcoin had a massive selloff so natural MSTR rips. That one looked ripped on the technicals. I'm really hoping this is a short squeeze over next couple of days.

I'm building and adding to my future retirement property in the country - sort of a 10 year process

6 to 12 months ago I thought the reported inflation numbers and supply chain challenges were being underreported nationally. It got to the point you couldn't get a price in advance at allC because they adjusted up daily. And at any prices there were components you couldn't get for 6 months. I think the inflation data was lagging reality.

I will say - the lead time issues are largely gone. And while prices will never go back down, they do seem to have stabilized. So similarly to before, I think the national data is understating the trends and is also delayed.

SPY clearing 376 would do much to see a higher push near 385 (not today, but maybe by next week) from what I see. We pushed out of a downward trend I've been following since March, and 385 would be a support to stay clear of it. Fingers crossed.

CRWD looks like it could have a good run this week if the market trends up. I got in some 180s 7/15 for $7. Could be a steal with enough time to prevent total loss.

I took a 10% gain this morning instead of the 170% gain I could have taken. For the trading account this ends up being a 4.5% increase versus an 80% gain to the account. I'm not sure if this is slow and steady accomplishing my goals or if I'm missing the large irregular jumps. Trading is such a mind****. Even when you do well, you wonder if you should have done better.
