Well I had a whole bunch of limit orders on TQQQ which I set "too low" and thought would never go through, and it's burned through all of them save for the last one at $23.

Dumped a whole lotta cash in there and I'm down to my last $2k.

Man am I hoping I caught somewhat close to the bottom cause if the bottom falls out from here it's gonna hurt.

Sure, but TQQQ below $25 is not that big of a gamble. Only question is how long you'll have to wait to make money.

Does anyone honestly think the economy and market is better now than 2019? Or even pre-correction 2018? The S&P doubled from Jan 2017 to Jan 2022 despite two strong corrections.

The market has been wholly divorced from fundamentals and has been sleeping with the Fed for a very long time.

I wanna choke my broker. It's in my brokerage account and I begged him for a stop loss. As a matter of fact, I requested stop loss on all my positions.

Guess whose not getting any more of my money? Pay these people for protection. He's f*cked me. Only $40Kish, so small but he's lost the privilege.

Bought FANG, MRO, and Oxy today.

Every bear market bounce I will buy SARK and then sell it when the market drops again. Tough way to make a buck.

May start buying sqqq on the market bounces as well.

Yes on crude to green. I'm still holding all my XOM & CVX. Will sell more CC's. Timing..

I'm thinking XOM gets invited back to the DOW30 in August. Salesforce needs to be culled out. One is politically correct and the other is business focused, guess which one is which..

buying anything bullish that is currently in a downtrend as a "trade" in this market and not setting stops is gambling. I think that's all sts meant.

For individual stocks not named Apple or Google I completely agree. My only point is on a long enough timeline you will make money on TQQQ, especially at these levels. I'm not in a hurry to sell so just gonna be patient.

in march 2020 and in 2019 it was around 8. why is it guaranteed you will make money?

Not saying you should or shouldn't have bought it, just keep in mind it's a 3x leveraged fund. It experiences leverage-induced decay (math) over time and typically 3x leveraged funds aren't a good long-term hold because of this.

375 has been my target on SPY for a while now, and we are there. Touched it earlier this morning.

You could reason the worst (a .75 bp raise on Wednesday) is maybe priced in and this is where we stabilize (won't say bottom or anything yet)

Could also make the case that 331-338 is also a potential target if we continue down which would be pre-COVID January '20 range

200WMA for SPY would be ~350ish
