Did you know that a lithium ion battery is mostly made of graphite?
Rules out WWR. They don't actually mine anything….but they certainly dig holes in portfolios.
Shell still has Norco I believe (Petchem facility on the back end of the refinery).
BP still has Whiting, Cherry Point, and Toledo.
So while the European majors are phasing out of refining, Chevron and XOM are still significant refiners here. COP spun off refining so P66 sits by itself. Marathon separated from Marathon Oil years ago also.

Holly Frontier
PBF
Delek
Flint Hills
CVR
Motiva
Citgo (PDVSA)
etc other smaller sites
Those first three have over 40 refineries between them. Independents account for most of the US refining capacity so they are buying oil at market prices although those refiners that can buy discounted crudes can improve margins over those that can't.
I think we are capable of pushing just over 18MM bpd through US refineries. The top 10 refineries account for just under a third of that capacity though. I'm thinking the average capacity of the top 10 sites is something like 570MM bpd or so.

I'm waiting a bit longer, but buying TSLA750C or 730P. I think the calls are more likely, but I'll wait until 8:45 to see if I'm going in.

If the macros haven't come off the bottom of their 5-min channels, I can't buy TSLA calls even if it look good to go. I need to see 4095.5 and 304.85 on SPX and QQQ.

We seem to be inverse the seasonality chart so far this year, which would imply a June rally
