Posting this mostly for myself, but hopefully at least one lurker out there can benefit, too:

1) I do not need to hit a home run today.
2) Yes, I "think" I know which way the market will go after Powell speaks, and I'm gonna be pissed watching a huge move from the sidelines.
3) Growing as a trader means ignoring FOMO, telling my emotions to shove it, and patiently waiting for confirmation before making a move instead of trying to front-run.
4) Being right for a 10-25% gain >>>>>> being wrong for a big loss
5) The market will be open tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. More opportunities await, even if I miss this one.

That said, best of luck to you guys who are staking scalping positions prior to 1:00. May the odds be ever in your favor. I'll be sitting on my hands trying to practice some discipline for a change.

Looking forward to hopefully banking with you as we fade the first move together.

Smaller size than normal. I treat them as hero or zero but do manage them and trim on way up if works leaving runners for upside.
