AAPL cleared the 50 day though still close.
ON, NVDA, & ADM looked poise for a potential lift off over the next few days. ASML as well.

Added more AAPL, AMZN, LNG, NVDA, DPZ, and SQ in my long term account. I don't sell anything out of this one.

Decided to back door roth as much of my WWR shares as I could afford to pay the taxes on for next tax season… Some day by future kids will either thank me or despise me but seemed appropriate at these levels. Definitely not trying to start the WWR chatter again just first time to ever do a backdoor roth conversation and that seemed like a stock worthy of it while beaten down. Rather now then when it's at $50 in 15 years haha
Well, I'm tired. Where things stand as i see it.
TSLA: Has a potential fight at 953 EMA 21 day or 957 VMA 21 day. Hopefully it can use the 50 day VMA at ~932 as a bounce off point if necessary. TSLA broke the down trend line it's been on since April, will need to hold ~915 for that to stay true tomorrow.
AAPL: Like TSLA it broke the down trend line and then the 8,21, & 50 day VMAs. Looking spicy.
Semiconductors
ON: looks like it is mid launch on the daily and broke the 50 day VMA. Clear skies ahead. (Earnings was 5/3 morning)
AMD: Did it's best Katy Perry Hot n Cold impersonation before ending up 9% after a good earnings yesterday after close. In the process it crossed the 21 day VMA and only has the 50 day VMA up at $106 to contend with.
ASML: Similar story, still has the 21 day VMA above at $600 and 50 day VMA at 624 as potential snares.
NVDA: Only one of these 4 that hasn't had its earnings yet. I think this one is following the others on a 1-2 day lag. If NVDA does run up before its earning towards the end of May, it could be a good put candidate.
Honorable mention: NINE. Earnings call is tomorrow morning and NINE (oil services company) closed up 15% today. This one does some wild things with 2 separate 5x run ups over a few days that fall fast and hard (6/3/2020 and 3/4/2022). Nine beat expectations and posted positive outlook for 2022 & 2023. See if it responds well.

And the reference he is referring to could have been made several weeks back since we are talking about calls.

As for me, today I learned that consoling yourself after the bell with "it's okay to be cautious in this market and not trade; remember, cash is a position" is a lot more effective on surprise down days than it is surprise up ones.
