I'm more interested in the reaction there. If price doesn't seem to be reacting to the downside quickly (no sharp sell) I consider it as being bullish. Even more so if price just bases there

TSLA looks to be in a a bit of a squeeze on 5 min candle for today. 910-914. Should be forced to show direction here in 25 minutes.
It is below the squeeze past 10 minutes. A TSLA fall might be the shove SPY needs to go down.

It's in a box from 917 to 909-ish. Yesterday it did something similar from 10:00 to 11:50. We got in this box a bit after 10. Maybe by noon it will decide.
lots of AAPL flow. and SPX is basing nicely just below 4200. I would bet we are headed up, not down. and 4200+ starts a squeeze

TSLA back to the 200-day quickly but bounced initially. Raid on calls before we move up or are we going to test 901?

Depending on how you have your trendline setup, AAPL might be struggling to stay above it. TSLA is just chilling in no man's land at the moment.

Last week XOM announced they were increasing their buyback from $10 billion to $30 billion. Here's what that means...sorta..
If XOM started buying back shares yesterday May 2nd, they would need to buy 776,558 shares per day through the end of 2023 (only trading days, 439 trading days and I didn't subtract out holidays) at $88 each to spend $30 billion. This is pretty big. Shares outstanding = 4.23 billion. XOM will buy back about 340 million shares. Current PE 9.76. 65 Day Average Trading Volume is 32.17 million.
ETA: If XOM is made part of the S&P again,...oh daddy!
