There were days in March 2020 where we would have multiple limit down market shuts off at 5%, then it reopened and dropped to 7% and another shut off.

The funny thing is - those weren't even close to black.

Hell Black Monday back in the 80s had over 20% drop. The mini crash in the 80s was at 7% in one day.

I remember in September 2008 seeing market crashes where the dow was down 800 points in a day and the index was around 12,000 or so.

It's all relative man and never forget there is the PPT waiting in the wings for JPOW to give the word.

Stopped out but I got back in.

I'm out again waiting for a direction. Tough day to trade TSLA on the open. I want TSLA, SPX, and QQQ above their opening price to go in long. ... So I'm back in.

SPY with its highest opening volume for the 1st 15 min in the last five trading days. Could just be first of the month trading but I think we see a move today. I have no dog in this fight though.

I'm out of TSLA calls again with it being at the top 5-min BB. I lost a little on calls early, made a little on puts, and then made a little more on puts. Very small green trading day in total.

It will be interesting to see if we run back down to opening price again.

The Fed has to pick one.

Looks like consolidation until then.
