Correct in gas tax being a fair tax.
However, pausing any tax is effectively free money to all users in one way but then a small subset of that group will foot the bill in another way...the government isn't going to cut back

The top priority should be allowing US companies to drill for more oil on US lands. The thing is, they know it and are intentionally allowing this inflation to happen.

Macro charts are still absolute rubbish.
To get this mess over with and set up new trends we need some bear flagging followed by capitulation down to around SPX 3850 or so in the next 2-3 weeks. The longer this flounders around the more likely it is months more of chop or even deeper selloffs.
For reference, 3850 is about 20% similar to 2018. 3600 is about 25%.
