Everyone Waiting for @elonmusk to say something before the move
it means more that the market is pinned and has limited downside.BaylorSpineGuy said:
So liquidity = markets go up? :-))

I bought 10 wide flies for TSLA 1050 this week, filled at .40 earlier today.
These are people who are beyond any of us. Cem manages a series of volatility funds and he is a professional trader. People like CEM are deeply clued into the structure of the market and the interrelationship between all the variables. I get his newsletters (they want me to invest in their funds - $250K minimum by the way). He's just smarter than the rest of us, basically.BaylorSpineGuy said:
Would love to talk about this tonight maybe. This concept of pinning is unclear to me and how could one go about knowing this if not for this guy posting about it? Would like to hear more about this.
Macro headwinds, etc., seem obvious, and then this suggests fairly safe upside risk. Need to be able to reconcile this…
mutually assured destruction, basically. Huge economic impact to Florida. They're betting Disney won't do it.Charismatic Megafauna said:

Do the parks even matter for revenue? And wouldn't Florida lose like 90% of its tourism if they pulled out?
pull out? There is absolutely no way DIS could ever pull out of florida.Charismatic Megafauna said:

Nice. But I hope it blows through yours and pins at 1210 turning my $13 into 2 grand
I bought calls and more shares at $125. Disney isn't pulling out of Florida and this bill won't really hurt their bottom line. They lose some tax write-offs from being their own government of the Reedy Creek District but that's a rounding error on their revenue.Charismatic Megafauna said:

It starts paying at 1190.13. Is that too much to ask?
essentially, yes.BaylorSpineGuy said:
Was he in a way saying that S&P was gonna close near its open because VIX was expiring today?
