I thought 4340 was inevitable at 10am this morning only for it to reclaim 4385. This market is whack.
So glad we got rid of that last guy runnin' the show and his dumbass low-unemployment, low-inflation, energy independent economy. Finally got someone in charge who truly understands that a low tide sinks all boats.

It doesn't make sense to me. SPY rallied hard to close but ES futures cont'd to meltdown slowly at the end. I thought futures more or less direct the SPY. Small error there for me. Caught it quick tho.

Strategy question. I'm new to most of this, so I might be way off base.
I have WWR at an average a little less than 2.5 per share. Could I sell 2.5 calls to collect premiums on half? If it gets back to 2.5 I'd be keeping the premium and benefiting from the raise on price.

Yes, unless you pay extra for the CME data it is delayed on TV and most free sites. I think the delay is 15 min. Some brokers offer it for free and some also charge for data.
You keep the premium no matter what.
If at expiration, you get $2.50 for your shares if price is over $2.50. You keep your shares if below $2.50.
