Diluting your shares. Poison pills are releases of more and more shares.

Eventually the hostile entity bails out usually.......

If the company continues to issue shares, the ownership percentage of the hostile entity decreases until they gobble up those new shares. When this protection is in place, it's not usually a small issuance.

I think Twitter is about to piss off some shareholders.

For buy and hold it probably is but JPM is heavily involved with mortgages and with the 30 yr mortgage over 5% now, this will lead to fewer loans and refi's.

I think we will get bad guidance for the year mainly due to inflation and rising rates. Yes I know that is a broad statement but goods are becoming uncomfortable to buy and/or find sometimes. Petroleum will continue to be bought but the costs to refine said products is increasing every month. This earning season is about bad guidance moving forward I think.

This isn't my day job though and I am a terrible investor, so take it for what it's worth.

I don't smoke, but I can recognize the F'ing genius there! Elon knows his audience and delivers. Can you imagine him running for Governor or for President? HFS that would out whataburger Trump as far as the voter engagement.
