I sold my two TSLA stupidity puts at the open for a profit. I need to still learn a lesson about cutting it too close at the close of the day. Could have been max loss.

I'm still not sure if TSLA opening hour trade will be available for me and if so which way. Probably looking at 4/22 $1010P or $990C. If I do play, I'll be quick to cut. Max pain is $995 so we may have mostly chop this morning.

You could hold some or all or the shares and buy puts, at maybe $45 to $35 strikes, to cover the downside of anything you are holding.
You could also sell CCs above $60 for a few months out, since that seems like free money to me.

Could buy twitter right now at 47.60ish, and buy an equal number of May 20 45puts at $3ish to protect the downside.
they reject his offer, the stock price will probably drop and then you can get out of it with your downside protected.
They accept the buyout, you lose the puts but getting $7 per share in profit.

I bought 100 shares at $47, bought 1 4/29 $45P for $2.61and sold 1 4/29$55C for $1. Net cost of $48.61. Max loss is $361, or 7.4% of investment. Max expected gain is $559, or 11.5%. The r/r isn't there honestly, but it's entertaining enough to be involved in.

Volume seems to drop off sharply above the offer strike, of course. Put volume has been increasing though, just merely my observation.

What choice do they have? How can they justify refusing this offer as in the best interest of their shareholders? Musk will sue the pants off of them. Others will form a class action.
