on 5 minute chart, trend broken.

Key thing to watch is whether or not we hold the gap. If you see the 8 and 21 cross again, good sign that we'll resume a grind up.

Notice how low volume is.

When you went with 4/8 expy on those AAPL calls, was that because you intend to hold them longer than usual or because you wanted to catch a big move?

I expected some gap fill today before we continue onwards (if we do). I wanted to have more time to see if it will work out given AAPL has moved so much and may need to consolidate.

I think AAPL can get to the smiley face.

If not, we will end up risking 0.4% of our capital assuming we expire worthless. I think odds of a push above 180 are pretty good.

Thanks. Ended up putting in a trailing stop loss for half at -3%, the 8 EMA felt a bit too low for me. Granted it could backfire and touch that stop too soon, but I'm pretty happy with the profits thus far. Didn't expect to see +35% so soon after buying.

I tend to think the market continues up, but the gap is sizable. If we lose SPX 4590, I would assume we fill the gap downwards.

Well I have the 8 and 21 as crossed and as you have suggested, seems we are grinding up.

So Jan23 $10 and $12 calls are both going for $1.17.

Is there money to be made on that $2 spread and matching call price? Or is that just a common anomaly with calls that far out and that close on strike price?
