The call is $1.60, or $160. He set his stop at $1.00, so the maximum he will lose, if the stock drops to that level will be $60.

That call is currently sitting at $4.15 5.85 and rising, or $415 585.

($1.6 - $1.0) x 100 = $60? what is the potential payoff for the $60 risk?

i spent about half an hour or so trying to sift through all the bull**** on wallstreetbets last year or whenever it was that all that mess was going on, and if there is one phrase i hoped i would never see/hear again for the rest of my life...

Just do it. Set up a cash account with options privileges with whatever $ amount wouldn't hurt you to lose, read the first post on this thread and however many pages back you have time for. Look at charts and see if you can understand what moves people are making and why, then get your hands dirty by following along with some of 30k's 50k plays. Google and ask questions. We don't bite unless you insist on getting off topic during trading hours

rather than get overwhelmed, start with 1 way to trade. I'd learn charts first and get your feet wet flipping commons, worry about options another day. Buy shares down at support, flip them for good profit at next resistance. 30K will probably post another share buy on the next market pullback, watch his charts, FJ's as well.
