It doesn't have real support until down around 75, and also looks to be building an inverted C&H on the daily.

New options strategy for me is to go in with what I would already be "ok" losing and let it ride until expiration especially during these volatile times.

So many times my stop loss hit or I accepted smaller gains and if I was patient would have had huge gains.

There is a gap to fill but maybe that's not until next week.

Yeah I know of someone who took a year off and just got back to work. He was "looking for a job" but was he really looking? He kept getting a check. He had enough saved to sit on his ass for a year (which he will regret long term unless he marries into money). But he kept getting whatever benefits were allowed by the government and he basically had the mentality of "if I'm paying for other people to sit on their ass I might as well join in."

I think the fall of crypto got him off his ass. I'm sure there are plenty of people who had a reality check in the last year including myself with small caps crushing me.

After a rough start to the day, TSLA finally had a decent trend down and now has has a bumpy, but decent trend up. This I can trade. That **** we had early just grinds me down.

Folks on Fidelity - do you use stops when trading options? If so how? I would like to be able to put a stop tied to the ask, so I wouldn't have to sell when I go to meetings, like mine at 11:00. I see how to sell using a stop or stop limit but it doesn't let me select bid, ask, or last so I'm hesitant to use it.

Couldn't you do a trailing stop $?

Figure out what your stop level is and do the math to set it?

i.e., you enter something for $2.00. It's at $2.25 on the ask right now. Enter a trailing stop of .25 based on ask, and if it falls to your entry, it'll trigger.
