It was the perfect deep stop reversal open. When I show up on this thread posting buys and strategy for long entry its not an accident. Time is crunched these days but I always try to assist the best!Jet Black said:

I ended up with 1 TSLA, NVDA and GOOGL call for tomorrow.Max Stonetrail said:
What is everyone thinking on positioning for tomorrow?
I am torn between nothing and continuing the exuberance by buying calls in all my favorite high beta stocks - AMD, TSLA, NVDA and of course some SPY for good measure. It just feels crazy on a 3.4% move from 410 - 424 in SPY.
I guess we go back to worrying about the Fed...
I bought some $425 SPY with 3/4 expiration this morning when pricing was around 412. Up nicely. I've got one hold over for tomorrow.Max Stonetrail said:I ended up with 1 TSLA, NVDA and GOOGL call for tomorrow.Max Stonetrail said:

You know, just to keep the morning interesting without worrying about it tonight.

Tesla 830 tomorrow makes me very very happy.
I was going to ask about that (wild fluctuations). What's the reason for that?frankm01 said:
Thanks for the work you're doing on this 50k account. Very educational for me.
Today was the first time l ever traded XSP. Did 3 trades and was green on all three but I was amazed how the bid/ask prices were fluctuating wildly.

let's look at 50K account:
- XSP call - I got stopped on that at 4.20, unfortunately when I thought the market would turn. +$20. Could have been a great trade. Oh well
- XSP put - more of a hedge, but -$100
- APA - closed above 32. We are short next week's 33C against full position. Let's see what happens. Our net basis in this is about $33/share, which we've lowered to $32.10 via covered calls. We've been able to bring in 5.6% in premium to keep us above water while the stock has flopped around. I'm OK keeping or OK being assigned. If we get assigned, we'll make about $0.90/share or $180 which is 2.6% for a 3 week hold.
- CWH - short 29P is about neutral, just need to wait
- DKNG - probably sold the call for next week too early, but assuming we get assigned, we'll end up clearing about $200 or 10% on this one
- ESSC - flat today, we just wait
- LGVN - bought today, up about 4%. Waiting for $7
- KO - I'm not too happy about this, but the trade is still valid. We're down about $100 on this. There may be higher uses of our money, but this is a quality company and we're not out of the woods re: high beta yet.
- MTTR - up big today. Our basis is $7.05, I sold March 7.5C for $0.50 on full lot. That would net us $0.95 if we get assigned in march, which would be 13.5%. If we don't get assigned, we are lowering our basis to $6.55 which is below the current price
- NEM - we probably get assigned. I'm OK if we don't and get to keep the premium. I sold the call on it too early, but it made sense at the time
- PLTR - our basis in this is $11.68, I sold the March 4 12C for $0.18, which will lower our base to $11.50. If we get assigned, that's $100 in profit or 4.2%. Not horrible for a two week hold.
So far, good week. I will look for opportunities to juice tomorrow with 0 DTE trades.
I think the two dominant theories I've seen so far are:Hedge said:
