Boy, back in the day (last year) I considered a green day for the portfolio to be a positive.
Have had to adapt now to thinking any day with less than a four digit loss in the portfolio is a positive.

Then a H&S and crash back down into the close the last hour.
Tight stops were a must for trading SPY options, and still got side swiped once when I got greedy going into power hour.
We're still in a downward channel going back to 2/1, below all relevant DEMAs (200 in light blue). RSI shows oversold, but we also ended the day with a TRIN of 1.2 (bearish).
Feels like we're going to continue down.

I bought SPXS shares and calls as well as SPY calls prior to the President speaking. I thought it would likely swing both directions during or after his talk. I sold the SPXS shares for a 1.5% profit when it looked like SPX, QQQ, and VIX were all looking bullish. I also sold the SPXS calls for cost.
Then I held the SPY calls and bought those TSLA $850 weeklies again. I sold those around 2:10 on the first decent red 10-min candle.
Between that and my opening hour TSLA trades, this was a pretty good day. I didn't go in very heavy, so these gains were a really small percentage, but I ended the day green on a day with most of my stocks were red.
Then I held the SPY calls and bought those TSLA $850 weeklies again. I sold those around 2:10 on the first decent red 10-min candle.
Between that and my opening hour TSLA trades, this was a pretty good day. I didn't go in very heavy, so these gains were a really small percentage, but I ended the day green on a day with most of my stocks were red.
Barnes is over on F16 now as Clob94.

TDOC had pretty solid results and selling off after earnings. One to watch if you're interested in starting to dip a toe in long term
