Random question and not stock related but I respect people in here.

Are there any criminal defense attorneys lurking in here because I have a question? NO, I'm not in trouble but I read a an article that made me go WTF. If not, no big deal.

Ok that makes sense. As price increases profit taking will create liquidity, whereas if there are no buyers big red candles seem less likely to create buyers than the former. Thanks.

BTC futures look to be bouncing between the 610 EMA (red) and 144 EMA (yellow) on daily candles.



And most occurrences where something goes from 76% to 176%, the correction move gets down to 76%, 100%, or 123%. So there's a chance BTC is in a leading diagonal upward. But if it can't post a new high, the threat of going back to $20k looms.

If we're looking for other breakout plays, SSRM is a gold mining company that has just broken out a cup and handle formation and is showing continuation.

The fundamentals look solid. Stock ATH is in the 40s around 2006 or so. But it may be a good long here. Would like to see continuation this week but potentially a good long here.

Will post more if I find any others.

Here's my watch list.

Criteria so far is stocks that have had a double bottom on the daily in the last eight trading sessions (defined as within 1% of previous low mark), that price is nearing breaking out of a volume shelf. They also need room to run to next resistance level (i.e., mainly looking for stocks with nice volume gap to fill).

Not jumping into these, price listed would be them breaking out of the volume shelf (resistance).

Would wait for breakout and retest before entering. Probably need to look at more things to justify entering but looking for stocks that meet the above criteria has been good to me so far this year.

Headline on Bloomberg TV last night showing a fastest reduction in Japan'sService Activity since May 2020. Is this deflation of money, decreasing dollar velocity?

If so, a real problem. Another item to be mindful for. The PCE price index drops on Friday. This could also be one that shakes the markets if the number misses dramatically.
