I think it's going to at least $50. In log scale a 38% retrace of OTH and OTL is at $23. Don't forget that with stocks like this.. they spent most of their life in the low value range and then went parabolic. And we're living in the destroy parabolic value times.

My opinion is that while capacity has likely ramped up for the major chip producers, they are limited in production capability by the availability of parts and supplies, like these silicon wafers.

Based on what I've been charting for chip stocks (AMD, NVDA, etc), and what I've looked into today with other semiconductor charts, I think this whole segment is in a major down wave and will be losing a ton of value. Some will bottom soon, and some might take longer. But I think these shortages in supplies and materials are going to affect everything up and down the supply line. But rising prices due to shortages might actually lead to a major rebound after this bottom. It will then explode higher once more capacity and production starts to come back.

Love chip talk. I am long on the chip industry as a whole. Not all will be winners, but with my investment horizon I can weather some of the potential cycling.

I still think the CPI report is still being digested and we gap down tomorrow.

Everyone is focusing on Russia and if they haven't invaded by open the we just rally back.

My gut says we don't and that Monday may even end up being a small green day. We had two big red candles so a third seems less likely without bad news, much of Friday's selling could have been exiting before the weekend in case we had Ukraine or some other terrible news, and it's OPEX week and we have a lot of retail buying puts so I think we chop this week to crush premium.

But a retest of those previous lows early in the week wouldn't surprise me either.

If we do gap down and get a VIX spike on Monday, I will be buying VIX puts for 1.5 and 2.5 weeks out.

I knew there were some things out there like this. Spinal cord stimulation traditionally has more of a role in pain modulation than reanimating of paralyzed limbs.

Brain-machine interfacing is most certainly a growing area of interest and exciting discoveries happening there all the time. I'm more cautious that spinal cord stimulation would reanimate paralyzed limbs the Mayo Clinic neurosurgeon voiced same concerns I had.

I do have one or maybe two patients that presented with very severe spinal cord injuries (including one "complete" SCI), and he walked in my office just 3 months ago. He's a real highlight reel case of aggressive and quick surgery, good rehabilitation and great family/supportive environment.

Could even be both. If I had to guess, I'd say we end the week 4500-4550 barring any major catastrophes. Whatever it does there will be some major fake moves!

One thing certain about 2022 is its been a marked shift to a more volatile regime with 80-100 point days both ways common. Day Trading needs to adjust to it: For me, means smaller size, wider stops & tactical, level-to-level trades taking profits fast until clear trend re-starts

A question for the advanced index traders on the board here:

How much does one index influence the other? I know many stocks are in multiple of the major indexes (SPY/QQQ/DIA), but how much does one chart directly influence the others?

The chart of the DIA looks absolutely awful. It has nearly completed a 6 month H&S and looks severely bearish. QQQ and SPY don't look quite the same so I was curious if DIA goes down, will it bring the other two down further?
